The Clinic Research On The Therapy Of Qingreliangxue And Yiqiyangyi In Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura

BackgroundIdiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) is an immune-mediated thrombocytopenia and the most common clinical hemorrhagic disease, accounting for30%of the hemorrhagic disease. The clinical manifestations of varying degrees of skin and mucous membrane bleeding is persistent or recurrent. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) thinks, the disease is caused by heat evil in blood,that also hurt Qi and Yin. In treatment, Good effects have been achieved by using of corticosteroids and immune inhibitors and other drugs, but there are still some shortcomings, such as:significant toxicity, poor long-term efficacy, easy relapsing. TCM has many methods to treat it, the domestic famous TCM experts, professor LiangBing, often uses therapy of Qingreliangxue to treat it,combinating with western medicine, taking significantly better effect than pure western medicine treatment, especially for chronic, refractory, relapsing ITP, having more obvious advantage.ObjectivesBy large sample retrospective research, to evaluate the clinical effect that was cased by therapy of Qingreliangxue and Yiqiyangy, in platelet count and bleeding symptoms of ITP patients.MethodsThis clinical research collects patients from July2007to March2012, who are out-patient of Department of Hematology, in Guangdong Provincial Hospital of TCM. The patients are in line with TCM&WM diagnostic criteria for chronic ITP. there are100cases, of which51patients are in treatment group, and other49patients are in the control group. All patients, in critical condition period, use standard western medicine treatment,such as:corticosteroids, cyclosporine A, intravenous immunoglobulin for sealing treatment, etc. On the basis of standard western medicine treatment, The treatment group add some herbs that have effect of the therapy of Qingreliangxue and Yiqiyangy, often eluding Cornu Bubali, Rehmanniae, Cortex Moutan, Red Paeony Root, Cacumen Biotae, Selaginellae, Herba Hedyotidis Diffusae, Agrimonia Pilosa, Ophiopogonis, Radix Pseudostellariae.patients take this one agent of chinese medicine orally in morning and evening everyday, lasting4weeks at least. Before and after treatment, We observe the variation of platelet count、the skin hemorrhages like petechia, take TCM symptoms points evaluation. Then we use statistical methods to analay and process results, comparing the variations of results of two groups before and after treatment.ResultIn the platelet count rising and TCM symptoms points reducing, the treatment group is apparent better than control group. We can find significant difference by the t test and Mann-Whitney rank,(P<0.05).ConclusionThe therapy of Qingreliangxue and Yiqiyangyin can rise platelet counts, reduce TCM symptoms points, have the function of Improving the curative effect of the disease.
