Inflammatory bowel disease and primary intestinal lymphoma have similar early clinical manifestations and it is difficult to differentiate with each other,or even both can be in combination,so it may easily induce misdiagnosis or missed diagnosis, which results in losing the opportunity of treatment and badly affecting the prognosis. In this report,we are presenting two cases which initially display signs of inflammatory bowel disease, one is highly mimicking ulcerative colitis, and the other Crohn’s disease, and the manifestations and pathological characteristics are predominant, which are different from reported cases of primary intestinal T-cell lymphoma, but eventually they were diagnosed as primary intestinal T-cell lymphoma.Combining the literatures reported at home and abroad,we expect to explore the correlation and differential diagnosis between inflammatory bowel disease and primary intestinal T-cell lymphoma and summarize the experiences of treatment in order to improve the understanding of primary intestinal T-cell lymphoma and better differentiate inflammatory bowel disease from primary intestinal lymphoma.
