The etiology and pathogenesis of functionalconstipation is not very clear, range of clinical types of drugs used to treat constipation, butineffective, many people due to the long-term application of stimulant laxatives can lead todrug dependence, and cause abdominal pain, water, electrolyte imbalance, malabsorption, melanosis and even cancer. So, find a safe, effective method of treatment of functionalconstipation has important clinical significance. Objective: By researching the patients were observed before and after treatment, andarduous feeling, abdominal distension symptoms, abdominal pain symptoms, weekly in stoolfrequency score change, explore the compound azimtamted gum combined trimebutinetreatment of functional constipation in clinical efficacy and safety. The three groups were nosignificant differences in age, sex, clinical symptoms, course of disease comparable sevendays before treatment, all patients were disabled or other drugs that affect gastrointestinalmotility. Methods: Outpatient and inpatient hospital in December2010to December2011,initially at the Rome III diagnostic criteria for chronic functional constipation and colonX-ray angiography or electronic colonoscopy to exclude colon organic disease were90cases,strict form of random number grouping, resulting in Group A, Group B, group C, a group of30cases. Three groups were no significant differences in age, sex, clinical symptoms, duration, comparable. seven days before treatment, all patients were disabled or other drugsthat affect gastrointestinal motility. A group was treated with compound azimtamideEnteric-coated Tablets150mg,tid,po,and trimebutine100mg,tid,po;B group was treatedwith trimebutine100mg,tid,po;C group was treated with compound azimtamide enteric-coated tablets150mg,tid,po. Treatment for four weeks. The Bristol stool formscale plays an important role in assessment of stool form and consistency changing. Visualanalogue scale is contributory in the evaluation of patients presenting, such as perception ofdifficult defecation (the perception of hard stools or excessive straining), flatulence andabdominal Pain, with constipation. Stool frequency should be recorded every week. After thetreatment, the application of statistical methods in three groups of drugs clinical efficacy. Results: After4weeks of treatment, all patients completed the clinical observation.1. In three groups after the treatment of abdominal pain, abdominal distention, defecatefeeling VAS scores and frequency of bowel movements per week score decreased (P<0.05).The symptoms between the three groups had statistical significance (P<0.05), three sets ofpairwise comparisons, Compound Azimtamted gum combined Trimebutine group andCompound Azimtamted alone, trimebutine alone group, single group of Mitte weresignificantly different (P<0.05), single trimebutine group with a single compoundAzimtamted group no significant differences (P>0.05).2.The stool Bristol score than before treatment significantly improved. The symptomsbetween the three groups had statistical significance(P<0.05),three sets of pairwisecomparisons, compound azimtamted gum combined Trimebutine group and CompoundAzimtamted alonetrimebutine alone group were significantly different (P<0.05), singletrimebutine group with a single compound azimtamted group no significant differences(P>0.05).3.After treatment, the efficiency of Compound Azimtamted gum combined Trimebutinegroup was86.7%, trimebutine group was56.7%, compound azimtamted group was53.4%.The combined treatment group there is always more efficient than the drug alone group, thedifference was statistically significant (P<0.05). three sets of pairwise comparisons, compound azimtamted gum combined trimebutine group and compound azimtamtedalonetrimebutine alone group were significantly different (P<0.05), single trimebutine groupwith a single compound Azimtamted group no significant differences (P>0.05).Conclusion: Compound azimtamted gum combined trimebutine group to improve thepatients with functional constipation bowel movements per week, stool consistency, a senseof defecation effort, abdominal pain, bloating and other symptoms have a significant effect, the total efficiency was significantly higher than single trimebutine group and singlecompound azintamide group.
