Objective:1.To establish the dimensional finite element model of personalized anatomical plate.2. In conditions of compressing, bending and rotating, analyze the stress distribution, stress conduction and displacement of the personalized anatomic plate.3. According to the results of the analysis we modify the personalized anatomic plate, and then analyze again, ultimately we design the data model of personalized anatomical plate which line with biomechanical.Methods:We select a volunteer patient with distal femoral facture and then get the original data of the distal femur by64-slice spiral CT scan. The data was Processed by software named Mimics、Geomagic and UG, so we can get the solid model of the personalized anatomic plate and then create three dimensional element data model of the personalized plate. The finite element model of designed personalized anatomic plate was processed by the material assignment, meshing, boundary treatment and loading the load through the software named UG. Analyze the stress distribution and conduction of the plate in conditions of the compressing, bending and rotating. Finding out weak points of the plate.we modify it, and then analyze the modified plate to make its stress of concentration parts get scattered, so as to achieve the best results.Results:A dimensional finite element model of distal femoral personalized anatomic plate was established. The stress distribution and conduction of personalized anatomical plate were analyzed under normal circumstances in conditions of the axial compression strength, bending strength and reverse forces. The stress of the preliminary designed personalized plate was concentrated in the transitional part of the plate. The more in line with the biological characteristics of the personalized plate model was established through the changes of the stress concentration area, which was modified and analyzed again and again to make the stress of the plate model get scattered.Conclusion:The established three-dimensional solid model of personalized plate fitted the bone well according to the CT data, and the results of finite element analysis were basically consistent with the biomechanical experimental results of the plate. It laid the theoretical basis for the study of the personalized plate by analyzing the three-dimensional finite element model of the personalized anatomical plate. Provide reference and technical route for the determination of the biomechanics of the next personalized plate or other type of plates.
