Using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA), their sera were tested for hepatitis B surface antigen(HBsAg) and hepatitis C virus antibody(anti-HCV).Results:(1)HBsAg,anti-HCV were positive in4of180(2.22%),7of180(3.89%) patients with β-TM or β-TI in Guangxi, respectively.(2)The positive cases of HBsAg,anti-HCV were1(0.69%),6(4.14%)of145patients withβ-TM group, respectively. The positive cases of HBsAg,anti-HCV were3(8.57%),1(2.86%)of35patients with β-TI group, respectively.(3)There were no HBV, HCV co-infected patients among180cases of (3-TM or β-TI patients. Conclusion: The infection rates of HBV,HCV among the180patients with β-TM or β-TI in Guangxi are2.22%,3.89%, respectively.
