In this thesis, the chemical constituents of Dendrobium Chrysotoxum Lindl and Pholidota yunnanesis Rolfe were systematically investigated. All of the components were separated and purified by column chromatography (siliga gel, Sephadex LH-20, RP-18, RP-8and MCI), their structures were identified by the modern spectroscopic analysis and chemical method. In the investigation,27compounds were isolated from D. Chrysotoxum Lindl, including2new ones. Moreover,37compounds were isolated from Pholidota yunnanesis Rolfe, including3new compounds. The compounds from the two plants including bibenzyls, stibenes, phenanthrenes, triterpenoids, steroids, lignans, et al. To screen new strong inhibitors, some of the bibenzyls from D. Chrysotoxum Lindl were evaluated for the bioactivities,The whole thesis goes in three chapters. In the first chapter, the reported bibenzyls and their bioactivities from Dendrobium and Pholidota genus over the past20years were summarized. The second chapter was the study on the chemical constituents of Dendrobium Chiysotoxum Lindl, in the investigation,27isolated compounds were Chrysotobibenzyl (1), Erianin (2), Chrysotoxine (3), Gigantol (4), Tristin (5),3,3’,4’,5-Tetramethoxy bibenzyl-4-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (6*),3,4,4’,5-Teramethoxy bibenzyl-3’-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (7*), Chrisotoxene (8), Confusarin (9), Moscatin (10), Epheranthol B (11),7-Methoxy-9,10-dihydrophenanthrene-2,4,5-triol (12), Disulfonation (13) Dengibsin (14), Dendroflorin (15),4-Hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxybenzaldehyde (16),3,5-Dimethoxy benzenemethanol (17),(E)-Coniferaldehyde (18),5-Methoxy-l,3-benzenediol (19), Erigeside Ⅱ (20),(1R,2R,3R,6S)-2,3-Dihydroxy-5-methyl-7-oxabicyclo [4.1.0] hept-4-ene (21),(7S,8S,8R)-4,4-Dihydroxy-3,3,5,5-tetramethoxy-7,9-epoxylignan-9-ol-7-one (22), Episyringaresinol (23),3-Hydroxymethyl-5-(3-hydroxypropyl)-2-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-7-methoxybenzodihydrofuran (24), Dihydroconiferyldihydro-p-coumarate (25),β-Sitosterol (26),6β-Hydroxy-cholest-4-en-3-one (27).Compounds6and7were new compounds, Compounds13and21were new natural products, compounds11,15,17,22and25were isolated for the first time from this species. To prepare for the pharmacopoeial standards, two compounds (erianin and gigantol) were isolated and amassed at30.4g and11.3g respectively. To screen new strong inhibitors,7bibenzyls1-7were assayed for the acetylcholinesterase (AchE) and butyrylcholinesterase (BchE) inhibitory activities, all of the selected compounds didn’t exhibited obviously inhibitory activities.The last chapter was the investigation of the chemical compounds of Pholidota yunnanesis Rolfe,37compounds were isolated, they were identified as3’-Hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxybibenzyl (1), Gigantol (2), Batatasin-Ⅲ (3), Arundinan (4),3,3’-Dihydroxy-2-(4-hydroxylbenzyl)-5-methoxybibenzyl (5), Bulbocol (6),3,3’-Dihydroxy-2,6-bis(4-hydroxyl benzyl)-5-methoxybibenzyl (7),(E)-2’3-dihydroxy-2,6-bis(4-hydroxybenzyl)-5-methoxystilbene (8),(E)-4’-hydroxy-2’,3,3’,5-tetramethoxystibene (9*), Phoyunbene B (10), Bulbophyllanthrin (11), Moscatin (12),2,5-Dihydroxy-3,4-dimethoxyphenanthrene (13),2,5-Dihydroxy-3,4-dimethoxy-9,10-dihydrophenanthrene (14),2,5-Dihydroxy-3,4,6-trimethoxy-9,10-dihydrophenanthrene (15), Lusianthridin (16),2,4,7-Trihydroxy-9,10-dihydrophenanthrene (17), Coelonin (18), Eulophiol (19), Imbricatin (20), Flavidin (21), Phoyunnanin C (22),2-(4-Hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-3-(hydroxymethyl)-7-methoxy-2,3,9,10-tetrahydrophenanthro [2,3-b] furan-5-ol (23),(±)-3,4-Di-o-methyl-americanin (24),(±)-Balanophonin (25),(±)-Pinorcsinol (26),(±)-Episyringaresinol (27),4-Hydroxy-benzaldchyde (28),4-Hydroxy-benzene methanol (29),6-Methoxychroman (30), Pholidotine A (31), Pholidotine B (32), Cyclophlidonol (33), Cyclopholdone (34),β-Sitosterol (35),8-(4-Hydroxybenzyl)-imbricatin (36*),(E)-3,4’-Dihydroxy-2,6-bis(4-hydroxybenzyl)-2’,3’,5-trimethoxy stiibene (37*). Compounds9,36and37were new compounds, compounds4-6,10,11,13-15,17,21-22,24-25were isolated for the first time from this genue.
