The Clinical Observe Of Buyanghuanwu Decoction Treating Chronic Subdural Hematomas And Decreasing Its Postoperative Recurrence

ObjectiveTo observe the effect of Buyanghuanwu decoction to treat chronic subdural hematomas (CSDHs)、prevent its postoperative recurrence and promote their neural function recure after them taking, and to discuss the method how the buyanghuanwu decoction to treat chronic subdural hematomas(CSDHs) and decrease its postoperative recurrence.MethodsForty cases with CSDH were randomly divided into the control group (20cases) treated with operation besides the conventional therapy from the first day after their admission, and the treatment group (20cases) treated as the control group and taking buyanghuanwu decoction. Taking CT scan to see how much subdural hematomas left and recording the Barthel index1st,3rd,10th,30th,90th day after operation.ResultsIn the control group the subdural hematomas left have decreased after operation1st,3rd,10th.16cases subdural hematomas have dispeared after operation30th,90th day. one case subdural hematomas left have increased after operation30th day, and3cases increased after operation90th day.②In the treatment group, the subdural hematomas left have decreased after operation1st,3rd,10th,30th day;19cases subdural hematomas have dispeared after operation90th day, and one case increased. The Activity of daily living (ADL) of the treatment group is better than the control group(p<0.05).ConclusionBuyanghuanwu decoction can obviously promote the CSDH’s diegesting and absorpting, and can prevent the postoperative recurrence of chronic subdural hematomas;it can decrease the csaes’neural dysfunctions by the CSDH’s occupying effect;it also can contribute to the case’s nerves、voice and activity fuction recover. It provides a new way to decrease the postoperative recurrence of chronic subaural hematomas.
