ObjectiveBy collecting the patients with insomnia in the outpatient of our hospital, this study chose patients according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria strictly, and did a survey about their lifestyles from traditional Chinese medicine theory. The study mainly tells the factors of unhealthy lifestyles which cause the insomnia, and summary-zes the relationship between unhealthy lifestyle and sleep disorders through scientific statistical analysis. It is hoped that this study can help the patients adjust their lifestyle so as to improve the quality of sleep, and help us provide basis for assisting the clinic-al treatment of insomnia.MethodStrictly screen101patients with insomnia in the outpatient in our hospital, and at the same time collect67patients from people that came to our outpatient who don’t have insomnia problem as the control group. Then investigate their way of life with lifestyle que-stionnaire, compare their body mass index, diet, exercise, alcohol drinking, smoking and other lifestyles, and by doing scientific stat-istics and comprehensive regression analysis. After the comparison between two groups, the measurement material data was t tested, and grade data was X2tested. Next find the statistical significance of the factors between the investigation group and the control group, then do logistic regression of the univariate factor, at last summar-ize the possible lifestyles that affect insomnia.Result The study includes101cases in the investigation group,67cas-es in the control group.1. Individual factors:The investigation found that The investiga tion found that the highest ratio of patients with insomnia is74.4%, and they are mostly betwe-en the ages of30-59.It can be seen from the table that the15-29ages take the proportion of12.8%. This sug-gests the insomnia patients are mainly the old ones, but there is a younger trendfor the individual factors, such as level of education, occupation, marital status, title, and marriage, there was no significant difference (P>0.05).2. Life terms:In the way of staying up, and thinking about problems or watching emotional movies before going to bed, had a significant difference between the investigation group and control group(P<0.05).3. Other aspects:It may have relationship between patients with insomnia and the surrounding environment, also working pressure is po sitively related to them; the mental state of the patients usually be have anxiously, and their feelings are easily affected by setbacksor unpleasant matters, besides they have bad mood self regulation ability.4. Comprehensive analysis:According to the univariate logistic regression analysis, it’s known that the occurrence of insomnia has related to gender, bedtime reading, watching emotional movies and tele-visions, and pressure and so on;among all these factors,gender is the most dangerous part to cause insomnia, and pressure is the second one. ConelusionThis study analyses the lifestyles of the patients with insomnia, and makes the conclusion that insomnia has related to staying up late enjoying thinking and watching emotional movies before sleep,the work pressure, and being nervous and anxious easily. Logistic regression analysis shows female, stress, reading in bed, seeing an emotion-nal film are all bad factors for insomnia.
