BackgroundEsophageal variceal bleeding is the most common and one of the most serious complications of cirrhosis and portal hypertension. The treatme-nt can be divided nto general therapy, endoscopic treatment, interventional ther apy, surgery, liver transplantation. Cirrhosis esophageal gastric vari-ceal bleeding was undoubtedly the Chinese medicine "spitting blood" and "blood in the stool" category, the ancient physicians, and most scholars t-hat the pathogenesis caused by contact injury blood overfl-ow the mainresp-onsibility in the heat, stasis "to explore the veinvarice-al bleeding TCM syndromesprovide some reference for clinical treatment and Chinese medici-ne to prevent rebleeding.ObjectivesCirrhotic esophageal and gastric variceal bleeding TCM syndromes an-d clinical featuresMethodsJanuary2006-January2012of the Guangdong Provincial Hospital of cirrhosis esophag-eal varicesbleeding of clinical data collected retrospectively, the estab-lishment of a database, a comprehensive analysis of TCM syndrome phenol ogica-1characteristics and clinical features.ResultsCluster analysis, collected95cases of liver cirrhosis esophageal and gastric variceal bleeding TCM syndrome indicators can be divided into four types:the heat Shangweinetwork card, blood stasis obstructing the networ-k card, wang cards, Qiphotocertificates; which hot Shangwei network card a ccounted for49%of blood stasiscard accounted for16%of wang cards acco-unted for12%, qi deficiency is not photocard accounted for23%. The four types of syndrome type and patient age, gender, smoking history and alcohol consumption history between the chi-square test, the results suggest that the difference between the groups not statistically significant. Four types ofcertificates typical of the tongue and moss like the chi-square test be-tween the two groups, the results suggest that P<0.05, difference betwee-n prompt group was statistically significant. The disease is the main age of onset between40-65years old,mainly in the elderly, young people less. T-he cause of cirrhosis, hepatitis virus infection, followed by chronic alco-holism; esophageal varices mainly-severe, the condition ismore critical.ConclusionsCirrhosis esophageal varices bleeding in the core pathogenesis is ho-t, followed by thevirtual stasis, contact the injured blood overflow is bl-eeding the nature of genotyping tohot Shangwei collaterals up to, followed by Qi not takenblood stasis obstructing contactwang card. Tongue and mos-s like the dialectical type; four types of certificates differenceto patie-nts’age, gender, smoking history and alcohol consumption history has noth-ing to do. The age of onset in the elderly, the most important cause of viral hepatitis infection, varicose veins degree-severe.
