Visual information (such as color, depth) in the visual center of the treatment process, the human has not yet completely understood. In the visual cortex has been found on a color or a certain depth has a specific response of cells. But the information is still fragmentary, for a thorough understanding of the visual mechanisms still need for further study and research.The technology of fMRI with high spatial and temporal resolution, real-time displays the specific brain regional functional activities, so that people can more objective, more accurate understanding of the human brain activity changes in the understanding of the human brain, neural mechanisms and cognitive processes, to open the" black box" brain become possible. In recent years, fMRI in modern science especially in the field of cognitive science has been widely applied in the accurate localization of brain function, and found that the brain cognitive network plays an irreplaceable role. This study uses the fMRI reveals the human visual perception process as well as to the color and shape characteristics of binding process, thus promoting the computer image retrieval and image understanding in the field of development. In this paper, with color and shape as an example introduced the fMRI visual stimulation experiment design, and around a person in checkerboard flashing visual stimulation on brain activation during the fMRI data pretreatment and post analysis, in which the visual stimulation experiment stimulus materials using MATLAB drawing, experimental display control and data recording using E-Prime software, data processing and analysis using SPM. The research on people in the chessboard and the visual stimulus (pure color, simple shape) of cerebral cortex was activated for recording and analysis, data analysis of brain activation and BOLD curve near the previous research results, the experimental design, data processing and experimental results will provide the national fund follow-up study of color and shape feature binding in experimental design and data analysis provides some reference and help.
