Traditional Chinese medical massage (TCMM) is a no wound natural therapy being testified by clinical practice, which has curative effect to many kinds of disease. Its curative efficacy mainly shown as’ relieving muscle and activating blood circulation by removing extravasated blood". So the massage-mechanism research has been a vital subject for aca-demic circles domestic and abroad. The swing manipulation of Chinese medical massage is a specific kind of TCMM. It has wide application scope which is applicable from medical department to surgery. Above all rolling massage, which is created by Dr. Jifeng-Ding, is clinically accepted by majority of massage doctors. In recent decades, many domestic scholars have researched kinetics mechanism of rolling massage from different aspects.Under the function of massage, blood vessels form a moving-narrow, Shi-xiong Xu,professor of Fudan University has been done a lot of research of blood flow in the nar-row vessels,which illustrates that, when blood flowing in blood vessels, its borderline is a dynamic borderline. Those former calculation methods used in massage numerical study all are traditional methods. When dealing with the problem of dynamic borderline, they all demand a large number of calculation, and their calculation methods are also very complex. Lattice Boltzmann Method (short for LBM) is an international new method of establishing fluid system model and numerical simulating calculation, which developed in resent decen-nium. This method is a The mesoscopic model,intervenient of fluid microcosmic molecular dynamics model and macroscopic continuous model, which has all of the two modle’s ad-vantages. It can simulate not only a solid-liquid borderline condition nearly approximating true but also many larger systems because it is a discrete statistics model having a fast speed and this method itself is easy to parallelize. So recently, LBM has become one of the most promising methods in the field of liquid system study and has been successfully used in numerical simulating action of many complex system, such as multiphase flow, chemical flow and poriferous medium’s fluid. In this essay, we are going to study rolling massage’s hemodynamics using lattice Boltzmann method, and discuss the influence of various fac-tors (such as blood vessels’shape, manipulation’s strength and frequency) to blood flow, blood flux, wall shear stress and so on by writing program of blood vessels model with mov-ing narrow. Our study will increase knowledge about the generation mechanism of rolling massage’s effect and provide reference to clinical quantitative criteria.Our job mainly include several aspect in following:1.Introducing the Lattice Boltzmann method.2.Building the D2Q9model of LBM to simulate the poiseuille flow and the flow around a circular cylinder.In generally,long straight blood vessels in two-dimension can be though like that the blood flow between two parallel board,which called poiseuille flow.We use LBM to simulate the poiseuille flow and compare to the theoretical value,and found they are in coincidence.So we are laying foundations for the blood flow research following.Also we use the flow around a circular cylinder to introduce the boundary handle method.The simulation result is the same to the result simulate by other method.3.Using the LBM to simulate the pulsing flow in narrow blood vessels.Building the narrow blood vessels model to simulate the blood flow in vessels which the shape of blood vessels was change because of illness.The result of research indications that the blood flow will decrease with the narrow extent increase.Blood cells may be deposit in the rear of nar-row area,then increase the narrow extent and Raynolds number.When the Raynolds number increase to a certain extent.there will be emerge a flow separate area.In the area,the velocity of flow will be decrease.There will be much more blood vessels deposit.then block up the vessels and come into arteriosclerosis phenomenon.The wall shear stress is a important pa-rameter in blood dynamics.Vascular tissue may be damaged if the value of wall shear stress too big.Simulating result indicate that the wall shear stress increase with the narrow extent increase and decrease with the length of narrow decrease,and it will achieve crest value at the center of narrow.4.Building the LBM model of TCMM and study the effect of TCMM by numerical simulation from mesoscopic aspect.We find that different frequency may led to different effect.If the frequency exceed a certain value,the effect of TCMM will decrease.The ceratin value is168times per minute,and the blood flow will achieve maximum value.It close to the value of160to170times per minute which clinical use we survey before.The results show that our simulate is tally with the actual situation.The biggest massage extent have great influence to blood flow.We found that the blood flow will increase with superior massage extent.By comparing the velocity of flow in inlet and outlet and narrow area.we found that the velocity of outlet is bigger than inlet.It illustrate that massage will increase the rate of blood flow.The massage affect the wall shear stress also.The experiment result indicate that the wall shear stress will increase with frequency.and rise with the narrow extent.The increment of two times frequency is biggest,and three times frequency is less then two times but still bigger then one times.
