[Objective]To analyse computed tomography (CT) characteristics of pulmonary nodular ground-glass opacity (nGGO) in order to acquire useful imaging features for differential diagnosis.[Methods]The clinical data(gender and age), size, and CT features(shape, margin, interface, internal characteristics, and adjacent structures) of16nGGO patients who were had histopathologic diagnosis by surgery were retrospectively analyzed.[Results]There were4males and12females, with a mean age of56.8years (34-82years).16nGGO included1benign and15precancerous or malignant nodules.[Conclusions]Malignant nGGO usually show characteristic of diameter>10mm, round/oval shape, well-defined interface, some of them have spiculation, vacuole sign or pleural indentation.
