Objective: To check accuracy of diagnosis of coronary artery stenosis andquality of plaque by using256-slice iCTCA with IVUS as a gold standard.Materials and Methods:From October2010to December2011,24CHDpatients were examined by256-slice CTA, CAG and IVUS. The findings are asfollows:(1) Degree of stenosis of coronary artery by using256-slice iCTCA,CAG and IVUS (2) based in patches,256-silces iCTCA lumen area, narrowminimum in the blood vessels elastic membrane area, plaques area,reconstruction index, eccentric index measuring comparisons, furtherevaluation and IVUS relevance.(3) sensitivity and specificity of quality ofplaque by using256-slice iCTCA in comparision to IVUS.Results:In24patients, the286segments of coronary artery wereexamined by using256-slice iCTCA, CAG and IVUS.Among286segments,86segments were selected to do statistical analysis.(1) of coronary lesionsnarrow extent, three methods two two comparison, is no statistical differencebetween, and has the high correlation (rCTA and IVUS:0.789, andrCTA andCAG0.828:rCAG with IVUS:0.757);(2) the CTA and IVUS in measuring coronary plaques area,average pathological changes of blood vessels area, vascular remodeling index,patch on eccentric index no obvious difference (P>0.05), they show theplaque is positively related to the moderate eccentric index (r=0.87、0.74、0.70).(3) of calcified plaque, mixed CTA patch. With IVUS in the diagnosticcoronary plaques on composition no obvious difference (P>0.05) theyshow the plaques are closely related components are (r=0.719);Conclusion:256-silces iCTCA findings had some results that:(1)256-slice CTA has similar accuracy in diagnosis of coronary artery stenosis in comparision to CAG and IVUS.(2) The condition and remodelling ofcoronary artery vessels can be detected by256-slice CTA and IVUS but itcannot be detected by using CAG.(3) The quality of plaque detection hassimilarity between256-slice CTA and IVUS.(4) By using256-slice CTA, thereis chance of less injury, inexpensive, easy to perform and can be repeated easilyfor the diagnosis of coronary artery stenosis.. In comparision with CAG andIVUS,256-slice CTA has similar advantages.256-slice CTA may be moreworthful for screening coronary artery disease in high risk patients in future.
