Objective:Congenital scoliosis is congenital anomalies of the vertebral body development caused by spinal lateral bending, because the vertebral grow on both sides of the imbalance, with the growth and development of children, lateral bending Angle speed up, If he didn’t have a very good treatment such as early, after the mature may cause serious stiff spinal deformity or spinal cord compression symptoms. The present study to observe posterior hemivertebractomy pedicle screw-rod system fixation in the treatment of congenital scoliosis clinical effect, so as to illustrate the surgical treatment of congenital scoliosis is a safe and effective operation method. Methods:Through the analysis of the15cases from2010.4to2012.4posterior hemivertebractomy in the treatment of congenital scoliosis. Among them,10cases were male,5female patients, age from2to8years, mean age3.8years, through posterior hemivertebractomy、using pedicle screw-rod system, lamina posterolateral and small joint autologous bone fusion. Through the postoperative X-ray Cobb Angle of change, SRS-22questionnaire score. VAS score, fusion condition, to judge congenital scoliosis correction result, and observe whether have complications. Results:all are completed successfully, without serious complications,2cases arise discomfort of lower limbs, with conservative treatment, after1-3weeks symptoms disappeared basically,3case appear the waist back pain, reliefing after conservative therapy,3cases appear abdominal distension abdominal pain, reliefing after three days conservative therapy, all patients have been followed up, follow-up time is six months.30patients in preoperation or at that time、3months、 after6months of postoperation, Cobb Angle were42.6±5.5°、9.1±6.1°、9.3±6.3°及9.4±5.9°, SRS-22questionnaire score between75-96points, all patients who underwent the VAS score betewwn3to5points, after one week VAS score below three points.15patients patients who followed up from processing X-ray examination show bone fusion, without pedicle screw-rod loosing、breaking、shift、broken rod and pseudarthrosis formation, neurological damage, infection of incision, without other serious complications. Conclusion:The posterior hemivertebractoy with pedicle screw-rod system is a safe and effective method of treating cogenital scoliosis, through this operation which correct spinal deformity in sagittal (side protruding), coronal (before and after the convex) and rotating deformity, fusion as little spinal segments, through the strong internal fixation maintain orthopaedic effection, building a strong、stable and balanced spine, but we can not ignore safety is the most important than orthopaedic effection...
