Objective To investigate and compare the postoperative effect of CompressedHollow Screws and Dynamic Hip Screw (DHS) in the middle aged patients withtranscervical fractures in Qinghai area, so as to provide the basis for the treatment ofsimilar patients. Methods To select25middle aged patients of Garden type Ⅱ~Ⅲ of transcervicalfracture from2006, January to2008, December as the research object in AffiliatedHospital of Qinghai University in Qinghai province. It was randomly divided into twogroups according to the different ways of operations. One group is compressed hollowscrews group (group A, control group): there are15cases,10male and5female, theage of40~54years old, average age44.93+/-4.68years old; the other one isdynamic hip screw group (group B, the observation group): there are10cases,included7male and3female, the age of40~65years old, average age50.40+/-8.81years. Evaluate the differences in two groups of patients with operation time、bleeding volume in operation, postoperative hip pain (2~3) rate and hospitalizationtime, And follow-up of two postoperative emergence of necrosis of the femoral headand hip function activity, with Harris scoring system for the standard evaluation. Finally, the summary of the data for statistical analysis and comparison in Qinghaiarea compression hollow screws and dynamic hip screws in middle aged patients oftranscervical fracture of treatment effect. Results In the Qinghai area, the control group (group A) and observation group(group B) cases of therapeutic effect comparison:the operation time of Group A wasshorter than group B, the bleeding volume in group A less than group B,long-termpostoperative hip function of group A was lower in the B group, the three groups comparative project are different, with statistical significance (P<0.05); Two groupsof postoperative hip pain (Level2~3) incidence rate, hospitalization time and therate of avascular necrosis in three groups showed no difference in this project, do nothave statistical significance (P>0.05).Conclusions In areas of the Qinghai, compression hollow screw and dynamic hipscrews in the treatment of middle aged patients of Garden type Ⅱ~Ⅲ oftranscervical fracture, The latter term clinical curative effect is obviously superior tothe former. So we should reach the operation indications for treatment, medicalenvironment and economic conditions permit, to recommend the preferred dynamichip screw fixation for treatment of Qinghai area middle-aged with Garden type Ⅱ~Ⅲ of transcervical fracture method.
