Abstract/Summary:
The organic components were paid important attention in the study of Chinesetraditional medicine in the past, but the kinds and amounts especislly speciation of traceelements were demonstrated to play a non-substitutable role in Chinese medicine andtheir effects for the past few years. Chinese medicinal herbs for relieving heat and toxicmaterial is a vary important component, so this paper use wet digestion、inductivelycoupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) as pretreatment and detectionmethod respectively in the determination of ten trace elements, Ca、Mg、Fe、Mn、Cu、Zn、P、Sr、Al、B, and its guiding principle are the contents and methods of Chinesetraditional medicine. In addition, we made a more detailed analysis of primary andsecondary forms of some elements on the basis of total amounts.一、To determine the total contents of the trace elements. The results showed thatHNO3+HClO4was suitable for different Chinese traditional medicine which were studied,but the proportion of the mixed acid was not alike; The contens of same elements indifferent Chinese medicine were different too. The results provide some usefullinformation and data for expounding the function mechanism and controlling thecontents of trace elements.二、Primary speciation of elements(Ca、Mg、Fe、Mn、Cu、Zn、Sr)in five Chineseherbal medicines were studied. The elements were extracted based on traditionalanalytical flowchart program and separated into water-soluble state and suspension stateby0.45μm filtering membrance, finally calculated extraction rate and adsorption rate insuspension state. The results showed that the contents of trace elements wereinconformity in medicinal materials and their decoctions; Extraction rate of some elements were less than40%, it demonstrated that enhance the use ratio of residue isnecessary; Adsorption rate of Fe was high in different Chinese medicinal. Primaryspeciation can obtain more information than total contents.三、Secondary-level speciation of elements were studied on the base of primaryspeciation. Water-soluble state was divided into organic state and inorganic state byLSA-10macroporous resin; These elements in decoction can be divided intoalcohol-soluble and water-soluble by adopting n-octanol/water system in the gastric andintestine of the human body. The results showed that the inorganic contents of Ca andMg were higher than other elements while the organic contents of Fe、Cu and Zn werehigher in water-soluble state; The contents of most elements in water-soluble state wereincreasing with the reduction of pH value, which showed that acidic medium is to helpincrease the water soluble contents of the elements in the human body or reduce itsalcohol soluble contents.This paper discuss the species distribution of trace elements in Andrographolide、Herba Patriniae、Net Cliffbean、Radix Paeoniae Rubra and Paris polyphylla for the firsttime, the results have an important significance in revealing the correlation betweenspeciation of elements and medicine efficacy, moreover, it is usufull for new drugdevelopment and research.
