A Clinical Application Study After Mammaplasty With The Round Block Technique For Treating With Macromastia And (or) Mastoptosis

Objectives: Through follow-up postoperative signs and symptoms of breast plasticsurgery, breast shape, scar, nipple and areola, sensory function, postoperativecomplications, and postoperative satisfaction of46cases of macromastia and (or)mastoptosis in patients with "round block" mammaplasty,to assess the rationality ofthis surgical method.Methods: For46patients with "round block " mammaplasty,We have adoptedthe questionnaire survey and objective data measurement,the VAS (visual analysissystem) questionnaire and rating scale in patients with preoperative andpostoperative signs and symptoms,breast shape before and aftersurgery,postoperative scarring, nipple and areola feel complications and so on,andfinally with statistical analysis.Results: Statistical analysis showed that: after the procedure (1) symptoms andsigns in patients with huge breast hypertrophy have got significant relief;(2)compared with the preoperative,breast shape of all patients become significantlyimproved,postoperative breast shape become beautiful symmetry and naturallydurable;(3) All patients with minor scar hidden;(4) postoperative nipple and areolafeel good;(5)fewer complications, and relatively minor.Conclusion: The results of this study show that after this modified "double-ring"mammaplasty, the overall satisfaction of patients with a high degree, whichdemonstrated that this surgery is an ideal breast plastic surgery. It also shows thatthis breast plastic surgery is not only just a cosmetic surgery, but also greatlyimprove the patients’ symptoms, quality life of patients, which is a reasonablesurgical approach, worthy of promotion.
