Aging is an inevitable physiological process caused by the age, cell aging andorgan dysfunction. With the increasing development and social progress, agingpopulation increases every year, a variety of age-related diseases also will becomeurgent social and medical problems. Therefore, a research focuses on anti-agingand the mechanisms of aging and anti-aging function of food, which is natural, effective, safe, high-quality, long-term use and with homologous power of healthand medicine meal, become the field of medicine research and developmentdirections。This issue executed the different components of plateau plant Brassica rapasubacute aging mice feeding for6weeks through. After the determination ofmalondialdehyde (MDA),glutathione peroxidase (GSH-PX), superoxide dismutase(SOD) and immune organ weight index,to explore the Tibetan Brassica rapaextraction on subacute aging anti-aging effect in mice. Objective: This study was to effects of plateau region plant Brassicarapa’s different extractions to immune organ and SOD MDA and GSH-PXof the aging-model mice detect Brassica rapa’s role in the mechanism bymodern anti-aging research to explain its anti-aging, anti-aging for thedevelopment of Plateau plant to provide theoretical and experimental basis.Method: To choose1408-week-old mice from the Qinghai Institute ofEndemic Disease Experimental Animal Center, which was healthy and clean, bodyweight (22±2)g,half male and female. the application randomly assigned to7groups: control group (control group), vitamin E, the positive control group (VEgroup), the aging model group (referred to as aging group), Brassica rapa waterextraction group (water extraction group), Brassica rapa extraction ethanol group (alcohol group), Brassica rapa petroleum ether to extraction group (etherextraction group), water-alcohol mixture of Brassica rapa extraction group(mixed group),20in each group. Except the blank group, subacute aging modelwas prepared using D-galactose injected mice other groups. Modeling at the sametime, water extraction group, alcohol group, ether group, mixed extraction groupswere fed with different extractions daily40g/kg. Meanwhile, aging group, controlgroup were fed with an equal volume of saline, VitE group with VitE0.5ml/percontinuous administration of42days. They were all weighed once every sevendays, and adjusted dosage according to the results.Results:①Through the D-galactose continuous injection, mice produced anumber of biochemical changes, aging mice peripheral blood serum SOD levelswere decreased, the MDA content increased significantly, liver tissue GSH-Pxactivity decreased, and spleen and thymus index weight index was decreased, indicate that aging model was successfully established;②The mice in Brassicarapa ether and alcohol groups were in better condition than the mice in othergroups;③Effect of Brassica rapa different extraction group on blood serum SOD,MDA and liver tissue GSH-Px:aging mice peripheral blood serum SOD levels weredecreased, the MDA content increased significantly, liver tissue GSH-Px activitydecreased, Brassica rapa different extraction group and VitE group, canimprove the peripheral blood serum SOD content, lower the content of MDA,increase the activity of GSH-Px in liver tissue (P <0.05), alcohol and etherextraction group had better efficacy than the VitE group;④The impact of Brassicarapa different extraction group on immunological parameters spleen and thymusweight index: the spleen and thymus weight index was decreased for the agingmodel group. The spleen and thymus weight index was increased for the differentBrassica rapa extraction group and VitE, and different Brassica rapa extractiongroups were superior to VitE (P <0.05);⑤Brassica rapa extraction group and VitE have anti-aging effect, alcohol and ether extraction group function isbetter than that of VitE group. Conclusion: The Tibetan Brassica rapa has obvious anti-aging effects forsubacute aging model induced by D-galactose. It can antagonize free radicaldamage, reduce blood MDA content of the D-gal aging mice and improve bloodserum SOD and liver tissue GSH-PX activity in blood and the spleen andthymus weight index, immune function so as to achieve anti-aging purpose.
