This paper using the ecological disaster data of Aksu area from1951to2010,analyzed inter annual, seasonal variation and spatial distribution characteristics of thefrequency of various ecological disaster in Aksu area, discussed the relationship betweenthe main social economic indicators and ecological disaster frequency in Aksu area. Theresults show that:(1) Occurrence frequency of the main ecological disaster and the affected area inAksu area showed a rising trend. In total occurrence frequency of the main ecologicaldisaster was low in1950s,1960–1980s gradually increased,80years the growth rateincreased,from1987to1990had the highest value in50years, in1990s showed a slightdecreasing trend, in general to maintain a high value situation;(2)For the drought disaster: the general trend of disaster frequency is increasedgradually,1951-1960s, the occurred frequency of major drought disasters was3times,the drought disaster occurred3years within the10years;1981-1990s the significantdrought disaster frequency is only2, while there was8years the drought disasteroccurred in1991-2000s. In the peak of the drought disaster area appeared in1991, andthe drought disaster area is9500000mu. from the1991, the affected area has significantgrowing trend;(3)for the flood disaster, from1951to2000s, disaster frequency has a rising trend;from1951to1970s only appeared3peak periods, respectively in1961,1971and1972.since1980the flood frequency increased significantly, the peak appeared in1987withinthe50years, from1987the flood frequency to maintain high frequency;(4)For the hail disaster: from1951to1980years, hail disaster occurrence had a smallscale increasing, from1981to1990s, hail disaster occurrence frequency and the affectedarea increased significantly, from1991to2000years, hail disaster occurrence andaffected disaster area had small decline;(5)For the wind: from1951to1960years, the wind number of Aksu region only4times, while from1961to1970the wind number increased to32times, in1961showedthe highest value, disaster occurrence is abnormally increased, frequency graduallyincreased;(6)From the Analysis the season of major ecological disasters, we conclude that,ecological disaster in Aksu area are mainly concentrated in March to October, amongthem July belongs to the occurrence frequency of ecological disasters the highest month,followed by June, from November to February of the next year as the least. Because ofthe drought disaster lasted for a long time, the drought disasters have occurrence recordsall the year, April to August is the worst affected period by the drought disaster;...
