In this study, The research progress about forest health at home and abroad was summarized systematicly. Cunninghamia lanceolata plantation in Jiangle forest farm of Fujian province was used as the study object. Using the methods of field investigation,documentary research,combined with qualitative judgment and quantitative modeling,to analysis two inventory datas that was comed from the year of1996and2007.The dynamic evaluation about health status of Cunninghamia lanceolata plantation were based on two perspectives,which was the dominant use of the function and the age group. The results show that:(1) The evaluation results based on the dominant use function displayed:health level in the year of2007(health comprehensive index was7.31),compared to1996(health comprehensive Index was6.51),increased significantly.the health status of Cunninghamia lanceolata plantation towarded the development of better and better level.(2) The evaluation results based on the age groups:the health level of large sapling forest declined,the health comprehensive index in the year of1996decreased from5.80to5.43in the year of2007. the data showed that two health grade were sub-health; Health assessment of middle-aged forest in the year of2007(health comprehensive index was6.49) was better than the health assessment in the year of1996(health comprehensive index was7.03),health level rised from sub-health to health stage; Health status of nearly mature forest in the year of2007(health comprehensive index was7.33) also was better than1996(health comprehensive index was7.15),evaluation results of both were under the health level;The health status had improved greatly in2007(health comprehensive index was7.22) compared to1996(6.78),the evaluation results of both showed that forest health were under the health level.
