In this paper,93crosses were made by NCⅡdesign with34inbred lines (Pl31inbred lines, as female parent;P23inbred lines, as female parent).The34parents and93crosses were evaluated for grain yields and other16agronomic characters.Analysisof variance,analysis of combining ability and heritability analysis and correlationanalysis. the main results were as followed:1Yield excellent combination: WP222×WP216, WP582×WP216, WP308×WP216, WP290×WP362, WP157×WP362, WP364×WP362, WP43×WP578,WP180×WP578, WP35×WP578.Ear and kernel character of excellent combination: WP55×WP216, WP259×WP216, WP170×WP216, WP6×WP216, WP582×WP216, WP2×WP362, WP582×WP362, WP44×WP362, WP33×WP362, WP158×WP362, WP179×WP362,WP290×WP362, WP44×WP578, WP39×WP578, WP158×WP578, WP33×WP578, WP179×WP578, WP5×WP578.Plant character of excellent combination: WP582×WP216, WP8×WP216,WP39×WP216, WP44×WP216, WP582×WP362, WP173×WP362, WP180×WP362, WP35×WP578, WP44×WP578, WP179×WP578.Get ideal inbred through the analysis of GCA for each trait. Screening high-yieldhybrid combination of good plant from the group of combination through analysis toSCA.Get integrated performance is more excellent combination through the abovethree conditions. the rest excellent inbred lines have it’s features. It can be usedaccording to the breeding goal.2. Heritability analysis for agronomic characters indicated that: The higher broadand narrow heritability of Yield, ear length, ear diameter, number of kernels per row,ear row, plant height, ear height, leaf number indicated that these characters were lessinfluenced by environment.100-grain weight, dry weight per ear, tassel main axislength leaf area, leaf angle, leaf orientation value had higher broad heritability andlower narrow heritability,indicated that these characters were more influenced bynon-additive gene.3Correlation analysis indicated that the correlation between plant characters andear and kernel characters was mainly due to plant height, tassel branch number, leaf area, leaf angle and ear length, ear diameter, number of kernels per row, grain weightper spike, grain yield.
