Faba bean (Vicia Faba L.) is the solo and no tendril cultivation species of Vicia Spp. Fababean is distributed at23districts of China, and what’s more, it is the local food crop of Yunnan,the total area is300,000hectors, Yunnan has the largest cultivation area and production, faba beanis important in Yunnan, it is not only farmers can improve economics by faba bean but alsoagricultural rotation system. There are1500germplasms have been collected and identified byresearchers on past30years, total80%town grow up faba bean each year, faba been is distributedgreatly in Yunnan, and what’s more, Yunnan has a diversity environment, the two reasons bringup the typical diversity for faba bean germplasms in Yunnan. Morphology and AFLP markingmethods are used of for analyzing the genetic diversity for Yunnan local faba bean germplasm.Altogether,200materials are analyzed at this research. These materials come from74counties of Yunnan. The analysis items include Coefficient of Variation, Principal Composition,Square Deviation, Classical and Diversity Index. As the result, all of200germplasms havedifferent CV, the plant height has the obviously different with other9characteristics, it is27%,the Simpson index is0.84, average diversity index is0.78; As the classical analysis,200materialsare sorted of3groups by morphology or AFLP, and the Plant Height is the mainly basis forclassification, the Plant Height is the shortest in the second group, and it is the highest in the thirdgroup.
