Rensistant Identification And Evaluation Of Registrated Wheat Cultivars In Anhui Province

Powdery mildew, Fusarium head blight, and Sheath blight are three main wheat diseases in Anhui province. In recent years, with the improvement of water, fertilizer conditions, increased levels of cultivation and planting density, these three diseases have become the main diseases in our province. It is the most cost-effective and secures means of Screening and cultivates disease-resistant cultivars to combat wheat disease. But more pathological and physiological species were obvious leading to weaking of cultivar resistant. Therefore, the identification of resistance wheat in field had become an important indicator to ensure the resistance of wheat.In this study, resistance of two consecutive years registration cultivar were identified by use of artificial nursery, resistance of these cultivar on wheat powdery mildew infection, Fusarium head blight, and Sheath blight were evaluated. The results as follows.1. Different materials in accordance with planting time divided into semi-winter and spring wheat. These were pre-test and test cultivar in the two categories，respectively.The range of resistance of pre-tested cultivar to wheat powdery mildew distributed in grade3-9, less in grade3-4, most in grade5-7. To wheat scab, most of pre-tested cultivar were highly resistant, a smaller proportion was sensitive. To sheath blight: the proportion of high sensitive cultivar in2010was greater than that in2011.2. The resistance of formal tested cultivar in the semi-winter cultivar to wheat powdery mildew distributed in grade3-9, most in grade5-6in2010. Compared to2010, the resistance of formal tested cultivars in grade3-6is lower. Wheat scab: The resistance of formal tested cultivar distribution from grade1.9to grade4.0in2010. The resistant of semi-winter cultivars in grade2.5-4.0and the proportion of the cultivars within grade3.51-4.00were higher than that in2010, the resistance of cultivars was generally lower. Sharp eyespot of Wheat: disease index of most formal tested cultivars was more than40%and half of them was more than60%in2010.The majority disease index of formal tested cultivar was in30%-60%, few cultivars of the disease index was greater than60%.3Comprehensive analysis of these three diseases. Cultivar Registration is a total of205in2010, there were35cultivars of which three resistance index reached more than anti, the resistance of42cultivars were in the degree of susceptibility. Cultivar Registration is a total of226kinds in2011, there were92cultivars of which three resistance index reached more than anti,the resistance of5cultivars were in the degree of susceptibility. The resistance of most cultivars performed a clear upward trend since the cultivar registration.
