Carya dabieshanesis is rich in nutrition and excellent in quality. Currently its cultivation is blindly expanding with low productivity of the stands. This research focused on its ecological adaptability, analyzed its site conditions, growth index and fruit yield of main producing areas in Anhui. Meanwhile we also did reproduction experiments. This paper discussed the suitable cultivation site and explored best breeding measures, which is practically significant cultivation expanding. The major results showed as follows:The best growth and highest yields stands were located at the altitude between300m and700m, with slope between20°and30°, in the and middle position in a partially shaded mountain. Average height, average DBH and yields are significantly correlated with altitude, the equations are:Yi=9.54+0.03a-0.37×10-4a2; Y2=18,4-0.3a+0,34x10-7a3Y3=1720.244-8.9a+0.67a2+0.67x10-4×a3, Average height, average DBH and yields are significantly correlated with slope, the equations are: Y4=14.92+0.17s-0.01s2+0.18×10-3s3; Y5=20.39+0.01s-0.01s2+0.16×10-3s3; Y6=496.87+611.74s-19.84s2+0.18×10-3s3. The slope aspect had a significant on average height, average DBH and yields; average height increased with the exposure from northerly slope to partially shaded slope then to southerly slope, average, on the contrary the average DBH decrease from this order, the highest yields was in the half shady slope, the lowest yields was in the shady slope. Slope position of had significant on average height, average DBH and yields; average height decreased with the position going up, average DBH decreased with the position going down, the highest yields was in the middle position and the lowest was in the high position.The best soil for growth and yields was thicker than60cm, bulk density should be lower than1,20g/cm3, pH should ranges from5.0to6.5, content of organic matter should higher than1.50%. Average height, average DBH and yields are positively correlation with soil thickness, the equations are:Y7=2.53e+0.42t; Y8=4.08e+0.36t; Y9=9.27e+40.91t. Average height, average DBH and yields are negatively correlated with soil bulk density, the equations are:Y10=6.54-277d2-20d3; Y11=1-5290.0571nd; Y12=8449.39-830.97d2-2881,15d。Average height, average DBH and yields increased at first and then decreased with the soil pH increasing, the equations are: Yi3=4.46+4.16p-0.46p2Y14=-2.29+5.88p-0.58p2,Y15=-12798.64+6854.58p-631.54p2。 Average height, average DBH and yields are positively correlated with the content of soil organic matter, the equations are:Y16=+2.89e-0.36e/g; Y17=3.06e-0.29e/g; Y18=9.02e-0.7e/g。In the seeding experiments, seeding time and pregermination treatments had significant effect on growth. The best group is autumn sowing×root cutting after pregermination, which had the highest height and ground diameter growth. However, the uniformity of autumn sowing was lower than spring, the management should be enhanced to improve the uniformity.In the experiments of root cutting, cutting material, hormone types and concentration of hormone had significant effect on the survival rate. The most ideal combination was main root of3a seedling×ABT×200ppm, with the mean survival rate of41.12%.In the experiments of grafting, we used the comparisons of different age of branch, different time of winter storage and different concentration of IAA. The highest survival rate of grafting is the combination of la branch×30d winter storage×200ppm IAA. However, the general survival rates are low, due to the stocks were unhealthy, the grafting skills were not proficient and the overcast and rainy weather after the experiments.
