Forest cutting is the main means of forest utilization, it is also an important management measure to adjusting forest structure、acceleration of its growth and healthy development. The subject of this paper is Dahurian larch natural forest in Greater Xingan Mountains,and research about main forest factors and species diversity of different cutting methods of intermediate cutting forest、successive cutting regeneration forest and clear cutting regeneration forest. The paper shows the effects on forest structure、regeneration characteristic、growth and development and plant diversity by different cutting methods.The main conclusions are:(1) The facilitation of thinning is obviously to breast diameter and volume of Dahurian larch forest, but not to height growth, moderate thinning is the best effective measure,After moderate thinning, breast diameter and volume of12years individual tree were higher226.7%and73%than that of control.(2) Dahurian larch forest in different intensity of thinning shows different species diversity:forest in moderate thinning was higher in species richness index of undergrowth、 diversity index and evenness index than other sample plots.(3) The number of regeneration in virgin forest is3085trees/hm2, formed by9Dahurian larch1birch, The number of regeneration in successive cutting forest is7896trees/hm2, formed by9Dahurian larch1birch, The number of regeneration in clear cutting forest is6547trees/hm2, formed by8Dahurian larch2birch, clear cutting and successive cutting forest were more effective in regeneration than virgin forest, successive cutting is the best effective treatment to seedling and sapling.(4) The spatial distribution pattern of virgin forest, successive cutting forest and clear cutting forest were all clumped distribution, but the intensity was different, virgin forest was the highest, the second was clear cutting forest,the lowest was successive cutting forest. The age distribution of virgin forest and successive cutting forest regeneration was equal, the age distribution of clear cutting forest was unevenness, contrast to see that the age distribution of successive cutting forest was the most reasonable to Dahurian larch regeneration.(5) Different cutting methods affected richness index of undergrowth、diversity index and evenness index,the index shows successive cutting forest>virgin forest>clear cutting forest.
