Five Major Grassland Locusts’s Growth And Development,and Community Diversity In Inner Mongolia

Grasshopper is an important kind of insect in northern grassland and farming-pastoral areas in China. The greater the danger of grasshopper is, the more attention people paying t0them in recent years. The research about grasshopper, is important to comprehensive me asures of grasshopper.The growth and development of five primarily grasshoppers were analyzed indoors, and structure and diversity of insect community in desert grassland were researched. The main results were as follows:1The differences in developmental period of five grasshoppers for tested were significantly. The Nymphal stage of female grasshoppers from long to short were Calliptamus abbreviates (39.1d), Oedaleus decorus asiaticus (37.33d)>Pararcyptera microptera meridionalis (31.2d), Epacromius coerulipes Ivanov (29.67d)>Dasyhippus barbipes (24.00d);the Nymphal stage of female grasshoppers from long to short were Oedaleus decorus asiaticus (36.00d), Calliptamus abbreviatus (34.50d)>Pararcyptera microptera meridionalis (30.51d),Epacromius coerulipes Ivanov (28.17d)>Dasyhippus barbipes (22.33d). The lifetime of female grasshoppers adults from long to short were Pararcyptera microptera meridionalis (38.87d), Calliptamus abbreviatus (36.30d)> Epacromius coerulipes Ivanov (28.67d), Oedaleus decorus asiaticus (26.67d)> Dasyhippus barbipes (16.15d);the lifetime of male grasshoppers adults from long to short were Epacromius coerulipes Ivanov (52.00d)> Calliptamus abbreviatus (39.17d) Pararcyptera microptera meridionalis (34.44d)>Oedaleus decorus asiaticus (22.50d) Dasyhippus barbipes (16.67d)2The differences of body length of five grasshoppers for tested were significantly. The length of female adults from long to short were Pararcyptera microptera meridionalis (36.17mm)> Oedaleus decorus asiaticus (29.93mm)> Calliptamus abbreviatus (24.77mm), Epacromius coerulipes Ivanov(23.9mm)>Dasyhippus barbipes(19.71mm); the length of male adults from long to short were Pararcyptera microptera meridionalis (29.17mm)>Oedaleus decorus asiaticus (18.93mm)>Epacromius coerulipes Ivanov (17.77mm), Dasyhippus barbipes (17.47mm), Calliptamus abbreviatus (16.12mm)32800heads insects of18kinds,12subjects and8items were collected from SiZiWangQi GeGenTaLa grassland. Oedaleus decorus asiaticus is the dominant species, relative degree is as high as43.43%; followed by beetles class, relative degree of18.43%. The indexes of community diversity were different in different time. The index of community diversity was the minimum in early July, then the index rose gradually, and in middle August the index was higher.
