The fruit-cotton interplanting mode in Xinjiang is now gradually expanding. The shading role of fruit trees reduced the yield and quality of cotton in a certain extent. Therefore, in order to study the cotton growth characteristics, the photosynthesis product accumulation and distribution, photosynthetic characteristics, yield and quality under the condition of weak light, we researched the effect of different shading degree on cotton growth, yield and constitute factors, quality, and analysed those characteristics from April2011to October2011, in the bazaar5village7group, YuePuHu county, kashgar, xinjiang, and provided theory basis for cotton-fruit cultivation in Xinjiang. The main test conclusions are as follows:1.With light intensity reducing and birth process progressing, decreased does dry matter and nutrient (N, P and K element) accumulation of the cotton organs except root, the increase degree of nutritional organs first increased and then reduce, and the one of reproductive organs increased. Shading made Vm and GT lower and t0, t2and At prolong. The ruduce degress of dry matter and nutrient accumulation in the nutritional organs of Zhongmiansuo No.49was lower than Xingluzao NO.36, that of reproductive organs was higher.But the total dry matter accumulation and nutrient of the organs were different a little, showing that the transfer of photosynthesis product to cotton bolls was suppressed more greatly, the GT and Vm reduced more seriously, to and t2were longer in reproductive organs of Zhongmiansuo NO.49.2. The boll number per plant, the number of harvest plants, boll mass, unginned cotton yield and lint yield fell lower and lower as light intensity was reduced. The number of harvest plants and boll mass were affected as greatly as the others. Along with the development of bolls, Chla, Chlb, Chl(a+b) and Car contents first increased and then reduced in contrapuntal leaves of bolls, and with the weakening of light intensity, reduce degress of those were increased. Chlb content of Xinluzao No.36changes smaller then Zhongmiansuo NO.49. Chla/b value was much less. Pn, Fv’/Fm’, and ΦPSII, qP of Zhongmiansuo No.49-were larger than Xinluzao No.36at blossoming stage. Along with the shading time was extented, ETR and NPQ dropped more seriously too.3. In low light intensity, soluble sugar, soluble protein and sucrose content were higher of Zhongmian-suo NO.49, but the reduce degrees were larger than Xinluzao No.36in weak light. Light too weak, numbers of presummer bolls and summer bolls fell, the former dropped and the latter increased more greatly of Zhongmiansuo No.49. Shading treatment increased cotton bolls on the upper and lower of plants, reduced the central ones.Bolls of upper and middle changed less, and lower changed greater of Zhongmiansuo NO.49than Xinluzao No.36Fiber length increased, fiber strength, maturity and micronaire reduced, which of Zhongmiansuo No.49on the middle and upper portion changed more greatly than No.36.
