Biomass resources are abundant in China, but these rich resources are not developed or utilized to the best advantage, a large number of Agriculture and Forestry’s rejected material are discarded or on-site burning, and this caused severe environmental Pollution and the waste of resources, therefore, it is extremely important to research and develop. The most biomass materials need crushing processing before the development and utilization. So it is extraordinarily important to biomass energy research and develop. Therefore, the researching and development of biomass-muller, it is great significance to the development of biomass energy. This paper takes straw as application object, research and investigate straw-muller of the present in China, in order to determine research direction and design idea, this paper conducted the following several aspect researches:Firstly, through researching and analyzing the physical, chemical and mechanical properties of the straw, the cutting principle and cutting mode was determined, and combining the machine of work experience and experimental result, finally we determine the design scheme of the straw-muller, and including the design of feeding mechanism, cutting mechanism, crushing mechanism, conveying mechanism and dynamic match and type Selection of the fan.Secondly, the aim to high-effect and energy saving, we designed a set straw-muller which have the cutting, crushing and conveying function in a body, the hammer rotors were axial-flow, it reduces energy consumption to a certain extent, crushed materials are uniform distribution in crushing chamber, and it strengthen also crushing effect.Thirdly, three-dimensional modeling software CATIA was used to make the straw-muller, and make the analysis of assembly interfered, it ensures that straw-muller of parameter is feasible and secure on work. In addition, this improves quality of work and reduces the cost of design.Finally, make the machine and perform the test about the machine by the orthogonal method, we should make a clear purpose of the test and determine the design scheme and obtain the test’s data, software SPSS was used to analyze the test’s data, exam the function of straw-muller, finally, the best work’s condition was determined.
