Dabie Mountain in Anhui is the northern region of camellia oil distribution. It possess abundant camellia resource, including some varieties with special characters, such as early blossoming, cold resistance, high yield, stable yield. The super varieties selected from local region would be better for local application. It is not only valuable for protecting these superior variety, but also improvs the quality of forestation. This study comprehensive researched on camellia seeding forest in Dabie mountain region. Two superior tree were discovered, through primary selection, repeated selection and final selection. The research results showed as follow:1. The paper established the standard of evaluating blossoming period and indexes of evaluating high and stable yield, including yield per unit area, oil yield, fresh seeding birthrate, dry seeding birthrate and oil content in kernel.2. The varieties of Wanqian11and Wanqian23were selected as plus trees. Both of them possed unique traits, such as early blossoming, highly cold resistance, high and stable yield. The full flowering stage of them were early November. Their fruit-maturing stage were late October. Their average single fruit weight were12.1gram and24.2gram respectively The fruit yield per m2were1.85kg and2.24kg, the fresh seeding birthrate were41%and42.8%, the dry seeding birthrate were60.4%and63.8%. Their oil yield were41%and40.9%, and the oil yield per mu were120g and160g.3. The cold resistance experiments showed that, the average relative conductive electricities of control group were30%to40%during the temperature below-8℃. However, Wanqian11and Wanqian23were22.9%and30.2%. Their ratio between bound water and free water were0.35and0.294, and they can accumulate more soluble sugar than other sample. So they can improve the density of cell sap, reduce the possibility of frozen inner cell and achieve effect of cold resistance.4. The comparative tests about growth of11group graft seedling in Hepen town, Shuchen county showed, the survival rate of Wanqian11and Wanqian23were90.5%and79.5%, but the survival rate of other groups were40%to79%, except Shuchen27, which as high as79.9%. The comprehensive evaluation of growth indexes also showed that the membership function value of Wanqianll and Wanqian23were0.874and0.921, exceed the value of other groups. Therefore, Wanqianll and Wanqian23could be spread in Dabie region.
