Spatial Heterogeneity Of Soil Nutrients In Guiyang City And Its Evaluation On Tobacco--growing Suitability

Land is the basic material for agriculture, while the soil is the basic media for plant growth and the important place for the energy exchange in the ecosystem. Heath soil is the basic guarantee for tobacco production. Thus in this study, the spatial heterogeneity of tobacco-grown soil nutrients, the relationship between the soil nutrients and tobacco quality, and its evaluation on tobacco--growing suitability were studied in Guiyang city, which is important for the rational use of land and the sustainable development of flue-Cured tobacco industry.The main conclusions of this study were as follows:(1) By analysis of the nutrients distribution area, the soil pH was mainly slightly acidic, organic matter belonged to rich, total N content, available N content, total K content was moderate, while total P content was low. As a result, the tobacco-grown soil of guiyang city should be applied some fertilizer or Calcium oxide to adjust the pH, the N apply should be controlled and rich P and K fertilizer.should be suppled.(2)The results of the relationship between soil nutrients and tobacco quality indicated that there were significantly positive relationship between the content of soil pH, total nitrogen, potassium, and nicotine content, while there was significantly negative correlation between pH and total sugar and reducing sugar, but there was no correlation between pH and chemical composition. The correlation between tobacco sensory quality score and organic matter is parabolic, while the same as available nitrogen content. However, there was no significant correlation between P content and tobacco quality.(3) Analysis showed that weight index method and the combination of geostatistical methods, Guiyang City, the most suitable tobacco soil area of1451km", accounting for48.51%of the total area; suitable for growing tobacco soil area of634km", accounting for21.21%of the total area; less suitable tobacco soil area of148km2, accounting for4.81%of the total area; unfit tobacco soil area of83km2, accounting for2.18%of the total area.1003km2arable land area in the city and county, Xiuwen County, which is the most appropriate, suitable, less suitable and unsuitable tobacco soil area each accounted for24.39%,13.30%,2.46%,0.31%; Xifeng County farmland area of812km2, is one of the most appropriate, suitable, less suitable, unsuitable tobacco soil area each accounted for33.09%,17.35%,2.80%,2.78%; Kaiyang1596km2of arable land, which is the most appropriate, suitable, less suitable, not appropriate kinds of tobacco soil area each accounted for30.49%,7.82%,3.35%,2.70%;1292km2of Qingzhen City arable land area, which is the most appropriate, suitable, less suitable, not suitable for tobacco soil area each accounted for34.90%,18.20%,3.63%,1.09%.
