CDPK is it was known that there were at least30kinds of protein kinase in plants, and their roles in many aspects including phototropism, cold hardiness, disease resistance, photosynthesis, cell division and so on. CDPK (calcium-dependent protein kinase) was studied morely, it was a class of protein kinase dependent on calcium ions not depend on calmodulin. The studies showed that CDPK was widespreadly existed in various of plants, which was the most biggest protein kinase families of calcium regulation in plants.By means of bioinformatics, comparision of CDPK in the maize and CDPKs from the known rice and Arabridopsis, there were39CDPK genes in the maize genome by data base of maize. The phylogenetic analysis suggested that ZmCDPKs and OsCDPKs and AtCDPKs had high homology and evolution relationship in nucleotide sequences, predicting the gene function. The Real-time Quantitative PCR assay revealed that ZmCDPKs maybe be induced by Salt, ABA, Dehydration, Cold, Heat. The results indicated that7genes were induced by ABA,5ones were responsive to salt-stress,6ones by drought,5ones by low and high temperature, respectively. These genes may play an important role in corn stress response. One of genes induced by salt, drought, cold and high temperature, was induced by ABA and not by ABA. Cloning the full-length of ZmCPK12, which was constructed into the eukaryotic expression vector. Full-length sequences of six CDPK genes were cloned. The thesis initially carried on function research of ZmCPK12, heterotopia expression in Fission yeast. Remarkably, ZmCPK12increased the ability of resist once dronght, the results showed that ZmCPK12probably taked part in drought resisting stress. In this study, we have some methods, data and other reference and basis for further study of maize CDPK resilience response pathway.
