With the development of computer vision, it’s applied more and more widely, however, it’s challenging and promising to research and apply computer vision inagriculture. The shapes of plants’ organs have important effect to their growth inagriculture, so it’s imperious to research this relationship quantificationally by computersimulation. This three dimension (3D) root scanner3DLS500is developed for thisdemand, and it’s a typical non-contact measurement device. It shoots pictures by CCDcamera, preprocesses images to extract roots’ edges and reconstructs with this methodbased on viewing radial. Finally,3D configuration and display are finished in this paper. This subject belongs to the national high technology research and developmentprogram(863program)(2008AA10Z222). The artificial intelligent laboratory hasdeveloped3DLCS100film typeã€3DLCS200industry typeã€3DCS300human scanner and3DS400contact more joint type. Now3DLS5003D root scanner is being developed. It’sconsist of hardware and software system, and is integrated by modern opticsã€machineã€electricity, so it’s complex and precise. This device involves opticsã€communicationã€signalprocessingã€image processingã€softwareã€automationã€computer vision and so on.Firstly, this paper introduces the subject’s background and significance, then analysesthe current situation of3D scanner at home and abroad. Next, it explains the maintechnologies in3D scanner, especially the hardware constitution and software design. For motion control sub-system, this paper explains how to develop control softwarewithin MFC using OCX widget in detail, and displays the result. For camera sub-system,this paper emphasizes its hardware technologies. Finally, this paper puts forward a method based on viewing radial for reconstruction, and this method is based on existing Remnant Graph method. And it is demonstrated thatthis method is feasible, and can achieve the anticipating aim. |
