Grass carp is a freshwater fish of great commercial value, and it is the biggestcontributor to the world fish production and the most important freshwater food fishspecies in world aquaculture. However, at present, there is no well-bred fish byselection. Fish selection breeding is a most commonly used method of breeding, andfamily selection breeding is the most effective means of breeding. To determinebreeding pedigree and accurate tracking is very important during family selection. Itis needed to mark all individuals in the family to get the pedigree information, if wecultivate different family in the same place. But you know, to mark the young fish isextremely difficult. It can ensure that pedigree information is not confusing if eachfamily is separate breeding, but it needs to provide a lot of ponds or cages. This articlecompares the effects of cultivating grass carp fry in aquarium and pond, studying onthe influence of the grass carp larvae growth in different feeding mode and culturingeffects of grass carp fry in different stocking density, to explore an effective methodof cultivating grass carp separately in family selection breeding. Now the researchcontent summarized as follows:1. Preliminary analysis on the effects of larvae cultivation of grass carp in aquariumand pondCompared with the pond (V) group, the Larvae of grass carp were cultivated bythe methods of adding nutrient solution (I), feeding Artemia nauplii (II), feedingzooplankton (III) and running water breeding. The Result showed that, there was nosignificant was seen between group IV and group V (P>0.05) in body weight andweight gain rate, group III (V>IV>III) was significantly higher than group I andgroup II (P <0.05). The highest survival was seen in group V (62.5%) and group III(59.8%), while the lowest survival was seen in group II (18.9%). In morphologicalparameter and body composition analysis, extremely significant difference was foundbetween aquarium groups and pond group in fatness and components of lipid(P<0.01). The results illustrated that Larvae cultivation of grass carp in Aquariumcould achieve good growth rate and survival rate.2. The preliminary study on cultivating grass carp larvae with different feeding mode Four factors, including the density of stocking (3000fries/m~3,2000fries/m~3,3000fries/m~3), the running time of water (24h,12h,0h), the frequency of feeding (2,3,4)and the amount of feeding (D1:D2:D3=1:2:3, and the D1is feeding20thousandzooplankton every time on day1-5after stocking with fish, feeding40thousandzooplankton every time on day6-10, feeding20thousand zooplankton andpowder-grain5g every time on day11-15, feeding powder-grain10g every time onday16-20, feeding powder-grain15g every time on day21-40), different feedingpatterns, and there levels were followed to construct nine different feeding models bytable L9(34) of the orthogonal design method. After feeding5-days old grass carplarvae with initial body weight (0.0013±0.0002g) in Wujiang Aquatic Breeding Co.Ltd for40d, the effects of these feeding models with different weight growth rate andlength growth rate were comparatively analyzed. The result showed that differentfeeding models impact the growth of the grass carp fry significantly, including thehighest weight and length of is mode6(stocking2000fries, no water exchange,feeding2times a day, and the feeding quantity is D2). It is suggested that the feedingmodel, which is suitable for the culture of grass carp, be characterized as follows: thestocking density is2000fries/m~3, the feeding rations are feeding40thousandzooplankton every time on day1-5after stocking with fish, feeding80thousandzooplankton every time on day6-10, feeding40thousand zooplankton andpowder-grain10g every time on day11-15, feeding powder-grain20g every time onday16-20, feeding powder-grain30g every time on day21-40. Keeps the waterrunning in20:00-8:00every day, we were feeding the larvae two times on11:00and14:30every day.3. Comparison of growth performance and culture characteristics of fry cultivation ofgrass carp in aquariumIn the aquarium with9method foster grass carp fry and with3kinds of differentdensity fish breeding grass carp, and its growth rate and breeding effect are compared. The results showed that: during the experiment, the body weight of grass carp fry gainquietly between5days-old and45days-old, and it increased after45days-old. Thestandard body length of grass carp fry had mean increased, the growth curve approachin a straight line between5days-old and105days-old To fry breeding grass carp in theeffect analysis found that: grass carp species, the lowest average length has reached10.02cm, average minimum weighed19.97g, and this specification is a species canbe grass carp PIT markers in the pond collection. That method can be applied tocultivate aquarium is in breeding grass carp home fry and the cultivation of thespecies.
