1. Screening of microsatellite markers associated with growth traits in Taihu Lake macrobrachium nipponenseSixteen microsatellite markers were used to analyse microsatellite markers associated with body weight (BW), total length (TL), body length (BL), Abdominal length (AL) Abdominal width (AW) and the second pace length (P2L) of TaiHu Lake Macrobrachium nipponense. A total of58alleles were found. The average values of effective number of alleles (Ne), observed heterozygosity (Ho), expected heterozygosity (He), and mean polymorphic information content (PIC) were2.5673,0.4740,0.5630,0.4951respectively. The probability value of chi-square test showed that eight out of sixteen loci were significantly (P<0.01) deviated from Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium.A GLM (General Linear Model) procedure was used to analyze the effects of these16microsatellites on BW, TL, BL, AL, AW and P2L. The results indicated that Mni001was significantly associated with the BW, TL, BL, AL and AW; WXM08had a significant association with the BW, TL, BL andA W, WXM10had a significant association with all six traits, WXM19only had a significant association with the AL and WXM22only had a significant association with the BW. The results of the different genotypes multiple comparisons showed that in Mni001the average BL and AW of genotype AA was significant lower than the ones of other genotypes, the average BW, TL, AL and P2L of genotype AA was significant lower than the ones of AB, AC, BB, BC.All six traits in individuals with genotype AB was significant higher than ones in genotype BB in loci WXM08; The average six traits genotype of BB was significant higher than the ones of other genotypes in the of loci WXM10; The average TL, BL, AL and P2L of genotype AB was significant higher than the ones of BB in loci WXM19; The average BW of genotype AB had a significant higher than the ones of AA in loci WXM22.2. Verifying of microsatellite markers associated with growth traits in TaiHu Lake M. nipponense96individuals of M. nipponense from Pearl River were used to verify the five microsatellite markers which were associated with growth traits of TaiHu Lake population. All the markers were polymorphic except loci WXM22. The average each traits of genotype AB was higher than the ones of genotypes AA and AB in loci Mni001, which was the same in the TaiHu Lake population; The average each traits of genotype BB was higher than the ones of genotype AA and AB in loci WXM08while it was the lowest in the TaiHu Lake population. The average P2L of genotype AC was significant higher than the ones of genotype CC in loci WXM10while it didn’t have significant difference with the ones of genotype AA and AB, and the average other five traits of genotype BB was higher than the ones of other genotypes which was also the highest in the TaiHu Lake population. The average BW, TL and AL of genotype BB was significant higher than the ones of genotype AB in loci WXM19while it didn’t have significant difference with the genotype AA. Each average trait of genotype BB was higher than the ones of other genotypes in loci WXM19as well as genotype AB was in TaiHu Lake population.
