Pot experiments in greenhouse and field experiments are carried out, using Bras-sica napus L. as material.(1) The characteristics of winter traits, biological and yield component charac-teristics of11Brassica napus L. varieties including five varieties breeded by key laboratory of marine biology, Jiangsu Province (NY) and other six varieties were carried out to study in northern coastal middle degree saline mudflat of Jiangsu prov-ince in2009. The results were as follows:The growth of NY cultivars was stronger than other6varieties in the saline soil. The branches of NY cultivars were grown from the base of the main stem. There were more branches for NY cultivars than other6varieties. There was no significant difference of main stem diameter among the NY cultivars, Ningyou16, Sanbei98, Qinyou66and Qinyou9. While the main stem di-ameter of NY cultivars was higher than Baozayou1and Qinyou33. There was little difference in plant height, pod length and pod width for all varieties. The yields of NY cultivars were significantly higher than Baozayou1, Qinyou66, Qinyou9and Qinyou33. The R2contents of the regression analysis were significant between the first and the second number of branches and oilseed yields.(2) Growth and ionic absorption and distribution in rape seedlings (Baozayou1and Nanyanyou11bred by us) exposed to treatments of different NaCl concentrations were studied. The results showed that NaCl stresses inhibited growth of both rape va-rieties significantly. However, salt tolerance of Nanyanyou11was higher than that of Baozayou1. Na+, Cl" content increased markedly and salt-ion content accumulation in shoots was much more than those in roots under NaCl stresses. NaCl stresses de- creased K+and Ca2+contents in rape seedlings. Higher salt tolerance of Nanyanyou11was mainly owing to better ionic homeostasis and higher SK,Na and SCa,Na in roots.(3) Nayanyou1hypocotyls explants, using tissue culture methods to study the seedling age, pre-culture time, pre-hormones medium, differentiation medium and hormones AgNO3concentration such as the impact of shoot regeneration. The results show that6d hypocotyl of seedling age at MS+1.0mg·L-12,4-D+0.5mg·L-16-BA after3d pre-culture medium, transferred to differentiation medium MS+2.5mg·L-16-BA+0.05mg-L-1NAA+8mg·L-1AgNO3cultivate, obtain a higher frequency of shoot regeneration.
