Wheat is our second largest food crops, the planting range is huge, breed Species is complex, The growth status of wheat seedlings is closely related with the latter growth biomass and the yield. Given the fact that the surrounding environment of wheat is variable and highly unpredictable during its growth, monitoring and diagnosing the vigor of winter wheat during the seedling period is of great importance. The present study present a preliminary design of a remote monitoring and intelligent diagnosing system based on the combination of remote monitoring, remote sensing and WebGIS technology. The remote monitoring and remote sensing technologies can provide both field environmental information and growth information in real time. In addition, the wheat growth condition, drought and cold injury can be diagnosed and analyzed with the aid of an expert knowledge database. For practical use, the presented system is able to generate a solution for the regulation and management of wheat, which is assumed to benefit the decision making process significantly.Along with the development of the technology of the Internet, web technology expand GIS technology and application, then bring about a broad application prospect of WebGIS technology. At the same time we use the space analysis ability of geographic information system and monitoring model in remote sensing analysis, we can remote sensing growing status and environment for large area of wheat seed. This papers based on the technology of asp.net and ArcGIS, combining GIS, RS theory with WebGIS key technology, design and develop a remote monitoring and diagnosis system based on WebGIS for wheat, the main job of this paper include:1. Analyze and discuss the Wheat seedling’s monitoring model of growing, cold and drought.monitoring model build up through find the relationship between crop agriculture parameters and remote sensing index, such as monitor wheat growing is through sampling leaves in flowering period or filling period, obtain chlorophyll content in leaves through chemical analysis, then investigate the correlation between the chlorophyll content and vegetation index of remote metering images, and then establish a chlorophyll inversion model, and through the chlorophyll content to monitoring the wheat status.2, Design system database based on ArcSDE and SQL Server, what’s can effective organization and management of multi-source data, and provided ability that Multi-users concurrent access based on B/S structure.3.Realize the function of view transformation and map management. On the basis of make WebGIS system, realize the basic function like:zoom out, zoom in, roaming, move left, move right, move up and move down information query, distance measurement and area measurement etc.4. Choose suitable space interpolation method to wheat growing areas to make spatial analysis, so as to assess the purpose of global growing according the samples.5. System have space analysis and diagnosis function, It can provide us with substantial production decision-making plan, to all kinds of production factors of reasonable collocation, maximize benefit, It has important theoretical significance and application prospect.
