The Triarrhena lutarioriparia L.Liu rapid seedling method was explored in this research through cutting propagation and seedling propagation. Influences of different nitrogen on changing of photosynthesis, accumulation of dry matter, law of the distribution of nutrient elements and fiber quality in growth period of Triarrhena lutarioriparia L.Liu were studied via pot experiment. The main results of this research are as follows.1. Cutting propagation is the optimal method of Triarrhena lutarioriparia L.Liu quickly obtaining large quantities of seedlings.Rapid cutting propagation system has been established. Adopting land including sand as culture medium was the suitable conditions of Triarrhena lutarioriparia L.Liu cutting propagation process. Besides, shading was benefit for survival and growth.2. The part of growth characteristics of Triarrhena lutarioriparia L.Liu have been ascertained. The plant height was first increased and then basically unchanged in the whole growth period. The tiller number was gradually increased in the entire growth period, showing the trend of fast to slow. The plant height and tiller number were increased by nitrogen application. Among the0-12g/plant nitrogen application rate, the maximum height was2.74m at6g/plant and the maximum number of tillers was15at8g/plant.3. Different nitrogen treatments had a great influence on photosynthetic characteristics of Triarrhena lutarioriparia L.Liu.The nutrition early light response curve of Triarrhena lutarioriparia L.Liu was determined, which showed that the largest of maximum net photosynthetic rate was27.22μmol·m-2·s-1at4g/plant nitrogen application. The light saturation point was higher than700μmol·m-2·s-1when the nitrogen application late was lower than8g/plant. Therefore the plant was more to adapt to high-light intensity. The respiration rate and light compensation point were increased to different degrees by increasing nitrogen application level. It showed that a higher photosynthetic rate was only obtained under high-light intensity when it treated with high nitrogen application rate. The net photosynthetic rate was increased by application of nitrogen fertilizer. The chlorophyll content was increased with the increasing of nitrogen application rate.4. The regulation of dry matter and nutrient accumulations of Triarrhena lutarioriparia L.Liu on different nitrogen conditions has been proved. The rate of dry matter accumulation during the whole growth period was slow in early stage, quick in middle stage and slow in later stage. The highest biomass was at8g/plant nitrogen application at the harvest time. Application of nitrogen fertilizer increased the nutrient accumulation. The nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium accumulation were all the highest at8g/plant, respectively being2.94g/plant,0.43g/plant and1.71g/plant.2g/plant and12g/plant nitrogen application were better for the fiber quality. The nitrogen utilization was reduced by the nitrogen application with the determination of15N tracer.
