Using Microsoft Visual studio2008development platform, spatio-temporal changes analysis system of forest resources (ForTSS V1.0) was developed by ENVI4.8,IDL8.0and ArcEngine9.3,which focused on the analysis of spatio-temporal changes analysis of forest resources in Huanglong Mountain. The system combined with professional image analysis and process tools and helped to resolve the problems of huge data processing, data exploring, vector-raster overlay, image classification and changes predicting. Using this system, you can analyze and process both images and vectors.You can also get the change information and predict the changes quantity and their locations quickly and directly. Those conclusions were got in this thesis:(1)Remote sensing and GIS complemented each other, and they worked as a whole was a trend under the pressure of improving the efficiency of spatial data. ArcGIS combined with ENVI/IDL was regarded as an optimal solution for the integration development of GIS and remote sensing. This solution could integrate the remote sensing and GIS from data to the software architecture and made the system easy to operate. Meanwhile, this solution also increased the efficiency of image analysis and resource utilization and reduced the cost in constructing the system.(2) IDL language was employed in this system to complete the operating image enhancement, choosing the ROI, classification by many methods, post-classification process and accuracy assessment through several image information extracting flows.This system also acquired the change information and predicted the change patterns using IDL,(3)Markov predicting model was integrated into this system to predict the changes of forest resources on a time scale.(4) CA_Markov was developed in this system, which was used to analysis the change pattern of forest resources.This model was based on the Bayesian maximum likelihood probability and combined the advantages of Cell Automata and Markov model.Through considering the probability of change from one type to another, this model could obtain the landuse change patterns in the future. (5)The interface of this system was designed by Janus system, a UI control design soft. The style of this system was as same as Office2007. This system was easy to operate and its specific aim was strong and different users could find their answers in the system. The system also provided impeccable modules of user management and system help.
