Study On The Naturalized Construction Technology Of Ecological Public Welfare Forest In Shanghai

According to the growth investigation of natural forest vegetation and trees in Shanghai’smain park, forest, green areas (including the main road, water networks, coastal protectionzone and green belt) and Jinshan District stem Ganxiang ecological public welfare forestgrowth,the stand density control technology, naturalized forest community pattern and formimprovement measures of ecological public welfare forest were studied. The main conclusionswere as follows:(1) Combined the comprehensive survey (research) with the key sections of the fieldsurvey method, more than20major parks, green space and some forest, afforest trees and oldtrees were selected to investigate Shanghai native tree species and growth status. It initiallyproposed the Shanghai’s forest species list, which contained58families and180species, andthere were38families and111species of arbor,32families and60species of shrub, as well as7families and9species of liana. In the arbor, evergreen broad-leaved tree species was28,mainly for the Lauraceae, Fagaceae, Magnolia, Ilex, Oleaceae; in the shrub, evergreenbroad-leaved species was22, mainly for Lauraceae, Theaceae Buxaceae, Hamamelidaceaeand Rubiaceae.(2)Reasonable density of main tree species in Shanghai, such as Camphor, Castanopsis,Cyclobalanopsis glauca, were studied in all ages. For the construction of pure forest,Castanopsis, Cyclobalanopsis glauca, privet, cypress tree could close planting in early years(5-8years). If in10years would not to be thinned, it could control the planting density forthe Taxodium distichum1215strains/hm~2, Cyclobalanopsis1125strains/hm~2, strains ofCastanopsis735strains/hm~2and privet705strains/hm~2. Because of the crown growth fast,suitable planting density for Pterocarya stenoptera, Melia azedarach and Acacia were255strains/hm~2330strains/hm~2300strains/hm~2respectively. If in30years would not tobe thinned, it could control the planting density for the Taxodium distichum705strains/hm~2,Cyclobalanopsis285strains/hm~2, Castanopsis300strains/hm~2and privet285strains/hm~2.Pterocarya stenoptera135strains/hm~2, Melia azedarac180strains/hm~2and Acacia135strains/hm~2.Besides38kinds of main tree species in Shanghai near natural forest types anddifferent age stages of stand density control were proposed. But when grow to10years, stand density should reduce45-55%. In hence, considering the management cost and individual treegrowth, it should thin plant in the early construction to delay the first thinning time, alsopromote the individual tree growth and increase the forest landscape.(3) Using Jaccard quantitative correction factor calculation according to27natural forestvegetation sample field survey data, for example, from Sheshan forest park and Jinshan island,the interspecific association analysis matrix of Shanghai District Native species was obtained,Results showed the tree species with better association and not, and suggest that Shanghaicould construct Fagus, Machilus thunbergii, camphor, privet-aphananthe, beech-aphananthe-Pu Shu, Chinese elm-aphananthe, Paulownia, chestnut, Pu Shu, Metasequoia Taxodium, orbamboo as the city forest communities.(4) Nearly267hm~2of forest with7kinds of species (Sapindus, camphor, acacia,Taxodium distichum, Bischofia javanica-tallow, Melia azedarach, Pterocarya stenoptera)were selected for remake experiment in Jinshan District. Forest by thinning measures of effectis better than the control stand, and using60%strength after thinning,3years the reserveaverage DBH growth rate higher than30%thinning intensity of reserved trees DBH growthrate. By replanting the tree survival rate and the average growth analysis,Results showed thatCyclobalanopsis glauca, Ilex chinensis Sims, privet grew well and the survival rate was above95%after forest thinning.Elaeocarpus decipiens Hemsl,Sapindus mukurossi Gaertn,Zelkovaschneideriana Hand.-Mazz.,Cinnamomum camphora (Linn.) Presl,Cyclobalanopsis glauca andother native species as species adapted to various transformation into the basic configuration oftest, Machilus thunbergii in part stand in a better performance, may be considered appropriateto introduce. while red cedar was not suitable for the soil quality in the plain region, though asShanghai’s precious local tree species. And further research was needed to decide Castanopsiswas suitable as the replanting trees in Shanghai.
