Toamto is one of important vegetables.therefore, Breeding for high quantity tomato is highlydesirable, as consumers`requirement improve continuously to quantity of tomato.wild tomatos containlots of genes related to high quality, and it is important resource to improve the quality of Solanumlycopersicum by QTL analysis to the genesIn this study, the Solanum cheesmanii LA0317with high soluable solid content (SSC) orBeta-carotene content and Solanum lycopersicum9706with low those content were used to constructBC2S6population,which contains152lines. The objective was to map high SSC and Beta-carotenecontent QTLs in S. cheesmanii Mill. The main results were as followed:1. A total of1649SSR markers,601CAPS markers and422Indel markers, which Distributed in12chromosomes of tomato, were used to screen polymorphism among two parents, LA0317,9706andtheir F1. A linkage map was constructed with155SSR markers,23CAPS markers and88Indel markers. The map covered1134.0cM, and the average distance between adjacent loci was4.29cM.2. Using MQM-mapping method, QTLs of SSC and Beta-carotene content were detected. TenQTLs of SSC were mapped to chromosome3,4,5,6,9,10and11, respectively, five of whichexplained more than12%of the phenotypic variation.6QTLs of Beta-carotene content were mapped tochromosome1,2,6,9.The major QTL (qBC6b) of Beta-carotene content on chromosome6couldexplain54.7%of the phenotypic variation.3. Based on QTLs from this study and phenotype of BC2S6population,5lines with high SSC and8lines with high Beta-carotene content were obtained and could be used as breeding materials.
