Abstract/Summary:
A systematic survey on the plant parasitic nematodes of ornamental plants inFujian province or transported form other provinces in China was carried out. Basedon the morphlogical characteristics,20species in17genus were identified,includedAphelenchus avenae, Aphelenchoides parabicaudatus, Ditylenchus myceliophagus,Filenchus australis, Gracilacus aculenta,Helicotylenchus dihystera, H.pseudorobustus,H. apiculus, Hemicriconemoides litchi, H.mangiferae, Psilenchus hilarulus,Pratylenchus coffeae,P.penetrans Paratylenchus minutus, Radopholus similes,Rotylenchulus reniformis, Scutellonema brachyurum, Tylenchorhynchuscrassicaudatu, T.annulatus, Xiphinema americanum. Helicotylenchus apiculus andGracilacus aculenta were new records in China. Aphelenchoides parabicaudatus,Hemicriconemoides litchi,Psilenchus hilarulus and Tylenchorhynchus annulatuswere records for the first time in Fujian. Radopholus similes which is a importantquarantine pest in China were collected from roots of Anthurium andraeanum、Calathea makoyana and Vriesea poelmannii transported from Guangzhou provinces.The result also showed that the isolation frequencies of Tylenchorhynchuscrassicaudatu,Tylenchorhynchus annulatus,Pratylenchus coffeae,Pratylenchuspenetrans and Rotylenchulus reniformis collected from ornamental plants were higherin the surver,.the risk of these nematode were also analyzed.There are two populations of Radopholus similes were identified by sequencingto the ITS area and D2D3area through rDNA-PCR technology, the result show that thetwo populations of Radopholus similes is different in ITS area and D2D3area,sequence comparability of ITS area and D2D3area between them is94.3%、98.2%,respectively. The rDNA-ITS sequences of the Hemicriconemoides litchi and the threepopulations of Tylenchorhynchus crassicaudatu were sequensed for the first time.The result show that the three populations of Tylenchorhynchus crassicaudatu havea same sequence in ITS1-5.8S-ITS2area.The pathonicity of two populations of R. similes collected seperately from rootsof Anthurium andraeanum and Calathea makoyana transtported from Guangdongprovince were tested on different plants, included Anthurium andraeanum,Spathiphyllum kochii, Chamaedorea elegans, Spathiphyllum floribundum, Musa AAAGiant Cavendish cv Baxi and Musa nana. The result show that the two populations ofR. similes could infected and reproduced in all plants. The results showed that the quarnatine of Radopholus similes parasitied on ornamental plants should bestrenthened for protectinge,production of banana in Fujian province.
