From the years of old, the pests underground are one of grisly natural enemy of agricultural production, which may lead to reduction of foodstuffs of large-scale even lead to famine when they prolific. These all can bring large economic losses to mankind. So it is significant to economic environment as well as to mankind’s healthy life that we explore a new effective pest-kill equipment to replace the traditional chemical insecticide. In this article, the author explore one, that is the high-voltage-pulse pest-killing system.There are four sectors in this article to present the equipment. In the first sector, it presents the design and function of all the hardware modules in the system; the second, the design of the software; the third, the test of the hardware; the fourth, the experimental analysis of the result of the test. Through analyzing the effects of different pulse parameters on killing grubs、mole crickets and cutworms, we can get the most effective pest-killing method with certain pulse parameter. The contend of this study includes the following aspects:(1) The design of the Pulse waveform control signal device.555-timer multivibrator generates a pulse waveform. Through adjusting the variable resistor and capacitor in the circuit, we can adjust the pulse frequency and duty ratio conveniently; selecting the ARM7microprocessor LPC2132as a core controlling chip to test the pulse waveform, and the measured data is displayed timely on the LCD, from which we can observe and confirm that whether the waveform is suitable; finally, LPC2132through the software outputs the required PWM waveform, which is amplified to control high pressure module, then,it will produce a corresponding high voltage pulse, such pulse will be implemented on the pests underground in the form of high voltage electric field,to realize the purpose of killing the pests.(2) The LPC2132system software development. The system adopts C language programming and modular design method to compile the main program and help program based on the ADS1.2software development environment. The article shows the main flow chart.(3) The debugging and test verification. Through debugging we know each hardware module can working properly and produce the ideal waveform we need. The system performance is stable. And the whole operation is smooth, convenient and timely, basically meets the desire of the design to kill the pests underground. At the same time, according to the different pulse electric field pest control test, the electric field generator system is feasible, and the use of scientific statistical method, we get the best insecticidal parameters through the analysis of the data.
