Prinsepia uniflora Batal. is the Rosaceae Prinsepia Royle’s aperennial deciduous shrub with drought, happy light, cold resista-nce, barren, adaptability and other characteristics. Its seeds bitter,can be used as medicine, attending eye diseases. The alkaloids arean important class of natural nitrogen-containing organic compou-nds, widely distributed in the plant kingdom. The alkaloid mostlyhas antibacterial, antiviral and other biological activity, is often theactive ingredients of many medicinal plants, is one of the hotspotsof the secondary substances. Vegetable oils is an important part ofhuman food, oil in storage, transport, process, light, temperature,radiation, moisture and other reasons, often the oxidation reactionoccurs, generating hydrogen peroxide, resulting in rancidity of fats,reduce its economic and nutritional value.As a wild resources plant and medicinal plants, researchreports about the Prinsepia uniflora Batal. are rare. Therefore, thispaper did deeply some researchs and discussions on chemicalcomposition in Prinsepia uniflora Batal.’s leaves, distributing rulesof alkaloids and flavonoids in different position of leaves and thechange of leaf area, alkaloids in seeds and oil oxidation stability, inorder to provide some theoretical basis on Prinsepia uniflora Batal.medicinal value and oil’s development, and resource protection. This paper mainly do the research works and draw the conclu-sions as follows :1. Based on the chemical constituent detection of leaves of Pr-insepia uniflora Batal. , several kinds of substances were dete-cted such as protein, amino acid, peptides, alkaloids, carbohydrate,flavonoids, organic acids, anthraquinones, phenols, tannin, volatileoil and saponins. Substance is rich, so Prinsepia uniflora Batal. hasthe development value.2. Distributing rules of alkaloids and flavonoids in different pos-ition of leaves is: to the bottom from the top of the plant morpholo-gy, these two types of substances overall showed a trend of firstincreased and then decreased, high content of flavonoids in parts ofthe fourth leaf position, the highest parts of the alkaloids contentis the third leaf position; leaf area at different positions graduallyincreased, leaf area of leaves at the third leaf position was the larg-est, the difference between each leaf position was significantly (P<0.05); the change of leaf area has different variation rule with theflavonoids and alkaloids content.3.Precipitation tests with the alkaloids found in the the Prinse-pia uniflora Batal.seeds and leaves contain the alkaloid substance-es,but more seed extract containing alkaloids. It showed that alka-loids distribution in Prinsepia uniflora Batal. had organization diffe-rences,and will be adopted in the late part of the alkaloid test seedsas materials ;4. Researchs and works on Prinsepia uniflora Batal.’s seeds:a. Acidity ethanol extraction method was the best extractionmethod of Prinsepia uniflora Batal.’s seeds alkaloids; into account, 85% acidity ethanol was the best extraction solvent.b. Using the chromatographically system , chloroform: acetone:ethanol: diethylamine =10:0.7:0.2:0.5, to elute chloroform total alk-aloids and get two components, component A is a white particle cr-ystal component, component B is light yellow "herringbone" crystal;initially using the chromatographically system, ethanol: diethylami-ne=10:1.5 to isolate and purify total alkaloids in ethyl acetate and inthe eluate, needle crystal can be seen; about n-butanol total alkalo-ids , acetone: n-butanol: diethylamine=1:10:1 were used as the elu-tion to get the components E and F, component E is transparent sh-ort prismatic crystals, components F is transparent needle crystal.5. The optimum conditions of the Prinsepia uniflora Batal.’s oilextraction method can be determined as follows: liquid-solid ratio1:18, extraction temperature 50°C, extraction time 50min. The hi-ghest rate was 29.31%;Using the Schaal oven method to study Prinsepia uniflora Batal.oil oxidation stability, results showed: both light and temperaturecan greatly accelerate of Prinsepia uniflora Batal. oil oxidation, butTBHQ, Ve BHA and BHT can delay the process to a certain extent;when single antioxidant is added, the best dosage of the four kindsof antioxidants—TBHQ, Ve, BHA and BHT should be at 0.015%; wh-en the concentration of four anti-oxidant was 0.01%,the effect of0.01% TBHQ on Prinsepia uniflora Batal.’s oil is the most obvious,while 0.01% BHT, the worst effect; when the concentration was0.015% or 0.02%,the antioxidant effects is the most obvious whileadding Ve in Prinsepia uniflora Batal.’s oil, but when adding BHTthe effect is the worst.
