| This study aimed to inspect and verify the mode of inheritance of blue eyescharacter which found in white rex rabbits.The3mating experiment—crosstest,backcross test and selfcross test were performed. Cross test was divided into twosteps, we selected two white male rex that were labeling as and Ⅱas the male parentand5chinchilla meats as the female parent in the first step,respectively,marked as No.1,2,3,4,5,The hybrid combinations were set as×1,×2,×3and Ⅱ×4,Ⅱ×5.Observed the separation of the coat color and hair type on the F1offspring. Cross testhad1blue-eyed mutant of male white rex rabbit and8female rubby-eyed white rexrabbits in the second step, the proportion of male to female were1:8. The blue-eyedmutant of male parent strain was marked Ш, and the8rubby-eyed white rex rabbits offemale parent strain were marked11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18. Observed the separation of thecoat colors,eye colors and hair type on the F1offspring. backcross test had2blue-eyedmutant of female white rex rabbit which came from Ш×11, Ш×12, marked as No. B1,B2, Observed and recorded the segregation of F1on their coat colors and eye colors.selfcross test had4blue-eyed mutant of white rex rabbit which came from Ш×B1,Ш×B2, respectively,marked as No. C1,C2,C3,C4. Observed and recorded thesegregation of F1on their coat colors and eye colors.From the assumption of vv homozygote produce the blue-eyed mutant, wespeculated that the genetype of rabbit Ⅱwas_aB_cc_d__Vvrr; the genetype ofrabbit four was_aB_Cchc_d__Vv Rr; the genetype of rabbit Ш was_aBbCchc_dEDevvrr; the genetype of rabbit11,12,13,14,15was_a__cc D___Vvrr,_a__cc D___Vvrr,_a__cc_d__VVrr,_a__cc D___VVrr,_a__cc_d__VVrr, respectively; The genetype of rabbit16,17,18all could be AA_bcc_d_eVVrr or Aat_bcc_d_eVVrr or atat_bcc_d_eVVrr;the genetype of rabbit B1, B2had one hundred and twenty-eight type of genes, thesegenes contain vv homozygote. through backcross test and selfcross test, we verified that when the v is homozygosis, it is recessive epistasis towards other genes whichalso control the coat color (A, B, C, D, E), vv homozygote produce the blue-eyedmutant. |
