| Hippocampus kuda is Pisces, Dragon Head, the genus Hippocampus, which produced mainlytropical, subtropical and temperate waters of the sea, are mainly located in the South China areas.Hippocampus kuda can be as important source of the drugs and the economy of ornamental fish, itis great demand in market, in recent years, because of overfishing and pollution of human, wildHippocampus kuda fell sharply, their natural resources and remain a low, it is hardly to naturalrecovery. Therefore, artificial culture has become the only choice to meet market demand, therebyprotecting the sea horse resources. The experiment study the effects about Hippocampus kudaunder different conditions of temperature and salinity in larval growth and biochemicalcomposition and enzyme activity. The main results show as follows:1.The Effluence of Temperature Stress on the Growth and Biochemical Composition andEnzyme activity of larval Hippocampus kudaThe effects of variable temperature stress (temperatures23℃dropped rapidly to15℃,28℃,33℃) on the growth, biochemical composition and enzyme activities in larval Hippocampus kudawere studied. The results showed that growth index, protein content, energy value of H. kuda in28℃were significantly higher than that of the control group which was cultured in28℃(P<0.05)after the end of the experiment. However, the indicators of H. kuda in15℃,33℃group wassignificantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.05), besides, the effect of variabletemperature stress groups on enzyme activities raised at first and then decreased, peaked after1d,and leveled off after4-6d. In the15days, the SOD, ACP activities and MDA content of28℃group had no significantly difference with the control group (P>0.05), the CAT and AKPactivity were apparently higher than that of the23℃group (P<0.05). However, the SOD, CATactivities of15℃,33℃groups were apparently lower than that of23℃group (P<0.05). The ACP,AKP activities of15℃group had significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.05),meanwhile, the MDA content of15℃,33℃groups have increased with time elapse. 2.The Effluence of Salinity Stress on the Growth and Biochemical Composition and Enzymeactivity of larval Hippocampus kudaThe effects of variable salinity stress (salinity25dropped rapidly to5,15,35) on the growth, biochemical composition and enzyme activities in larval Hippocampus kuda were studied. Theresults showed that weight, biochemical composition and energy value of H. kuda larval of15salinity group had no significantly difference with the control group(salinity15)(P>0.05), theindex of length and survival rate were significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05),however, the growth index, survival rate and biochemical composition of the5,35salinity groupswere apparently lower than that of the control group (P<0.05), besides the SOD, CAT enzymeactivity of15salinity group was lower than control group level (P<0.05), the changes of MDAcontent does not significantly (P>0.05). The SOD, CAT and MDA content of the5,35salinitygroups compared with the control group, which show rising trend with time elapse(P<0.05). Withthe increases of salinity, the AKP activity has a rising trend, the ACP activity will decrease with theincrease of salinity. |
