This article mainly studied on nutritional requirements and formulated feed of Hemifusus tuba Gmelinwhich is an important commercial marine gastropods animal, using changes of growth, feeding rate andnutrition as indexes, and the results were as follows:1. This trial was carried at the temperature of26.5±2.4℃and the salinity of25.1±0.9.Hemifusus tuba(weight:35.28±0.04g)were divided into four treatment groups in cluding one group with continuousfeeding(C)and four other groups with food deprivation for10days(S10),16days(S16),22days(S22) and28days(S28) respectively. It is drown that, Hemifusus tuba had the ablity of compensatory growth, and thegroup of S10and S16achieved compensatory growth by enhancing feed conversion rate and feeding rate, but S22and S28achieved by enhancing feeding rate.2. In this part, Hemifusus tuba of50g,100g,200g,300g and400g were used to analysis differences ofEssential nutrients, minerals, amino acids and fatty acid in the muscle among five weights. The results wasthat crude protein contents(70.00%), crude fat contents(5.60%) and unsaturated fatty acids(66.13%) inmuscle of400g was most than the others, and300g group muscle had mineral elements(K:727.07μg/g;Fe:92.24μg/g) and essential amino acids (43.18%) of the highest contents.3. Five protein levels (25%,30%,35%,40%and45%)were set using white fishmeal and domestic fish mealas the main dietary protein source, and the fat level was9%. Then, a40-day growth experiment wasconducted using Hemifusus tuba of0.65±0.25g weights at the temperature of29.7±1.9℃and the salinityof24.5±2.5, it showed that37.50%~38.88%was the demand of Hemifusus tuba for feed protein.4. Five fat levels (7%,9%,13%,15%and17%)were set using fish oil and soybean oil as the main dietary fatsource, and the protein level was40%. Then, a40-day growth experiment was conducted using Hemifusustuba of0.85±0.03g weights at the temperature of29.7±1.9℃and the salinity of24.5±2.5, it showed that12.86%~13.33%was the demand of Hemifusus tuba for feed lipid.5. There were two trials at the temperature of28.6±1.9℃and the salinity of24.5±2.5, the first was set fivegroups including no feeding bait group, Sinonovacula constricta group, frozen trash fish group, soft baitgroup and hard bait group, and the growth effect of Sinonovacula constricta group had the largest specificgrowth rate(0.54%). The second was feed ration test, which contained0%、2%、4%'6%of Hemifusustuba weight(initial Shell height:3.46±0.10cm, initial weight:3.27±0.16g), and it proved that4%ofweight was the best feed ration.6. Made formula feed of Hemifusus tuba using bonding adhesives of flour (5.0%,8.0%,11.0%,14.0%,17.0%), α-starch(5.0%,8.0%,11.0%,14.0%,17.0%), sodium alginate (1.0%,4.0%,7.0%,10.0%,13.0%)and gelatin(1.0%,4.0%,7.0%,10.0%,13.0%), and the shortest time no collapsing and food intakeeffect was observed. It found that gelatin was the best bonding adhesives which had the smallestdissolve-loss rate(33.28%)and largest feeding rate(26.25%).7. This experiment used feed containing40%protein and9%fat to study the effect of differentfeeding frequency(1,2,3,4times per day), different feeding ration(3.0%,6.0%,9.0%,12.0%)anddifferent feed grain ration(5mm,10mm,15mm,20mm)on special growth ration, feed conversion rate, survival rate of Hemifusus tuba and ammonia nitrogen contents of water. The temperature was23.9±2.6℃, salinity was26.1±0.7and the weight of Hemifusus tuba was0.89±0.04cm,0.88±0.04cm,1.19±0.03cmrespectively. The result shows that the appropriate feeding method of juvenile feed is10mm feed grainration,6%of body weight and2times per day.
