This paper has Chinese white poplar(Populus tomentosa), redpine(Pinus massomiana) and our resource-richmoso bamboo(Phyllostachys pubescens) were chosen as experimental materials, rot-resistant effects of two kinds of new preservatives, including organic fungicides based preservative (ZJFC-Ⅰ) and the compound of chitosan-metal complex/organic fungicide (ZJFC-Ⅱ),against white-rot fungus (Trametes versicolor) and brown-rot fungus (Postia placenta) were tested. To further know the mold-resistant effects of the two new preservatives against Trichoderma viride, Penicillam citrinum and Aspergillus niger, moso bamboo were taken as materials. in order to white-rot fungus (Trametes versicolor) and brown-rot(Postia placenta), Trichoderma viride、Penicillam citrinum、Aspergillus niger for the mold mildew, organic fungicides and their mixtures with chitosan as wood&bamboo preservatives were studied. The main research findings were summarized as follows:(1) Performances of the preservatives against rot fungiThe amount of chemicals absorbed in Populus tomentos and Pinus massomiana were much larger than in bamboo tember, about three times more at the same concentrations. Natural durability of both Chinese white poplar and redpine reached the grade of slightly durability. Natural durability of a four-year health bamboo reached the grade of durability. Natual bamboo has a higher resistant effect against brown-rot fungi than against white-rot fungi. Durablity of the materials selected above were enhanced considerably when treated with the test preservatives. Between them, the effect of ZJFC-Ⅰbehold slightly better than ZJFC-Ⅱ. in Populus tomentos with a retention of ZJFC-Ⅰ0.58kg/m3, could reach the grade of strong durability; and that of ZJFC-Ⅱwas 3.18kg/m3. Decay-resistant effects related closely with the concentrations of preservatives applied, and the decay-resistant effects incresing with the improved concentration.(2) Leaching performancesAs to ZJFC-Ⅰ,the fixation of propiconazole changed slightly among species above and concentration applied. The fixation of different concentrations of preservatives were between 80% to 90%. But to ZJFC-Ⅱ, The fixation rate of propiconazole in redpine was increased with the increased concentration, while in Chinese white poplar, the fixation rate nearly keep the same among diferent concentrations. The Cu2+ in ZJFC-Ⅱfixed very well in the selected materials, almost achieved 100%, and better than CCA and ACQ.(3) Mold-resistant effects The average mold-resistant efficiency of ZJFC-Ⅱare superior to several other preservatives. ZJFC-Ⅰhad better resistance against Penicillam citrinum, and could effectively restrain the growth of Trichoderma and Aspergillus nige when the concentration reaching 1.00%. With the concentrations of ZJFC-Ⅰand ZJFC-Ⅱincreased, their mold-resistant efficiency enhanced greatly., and the infection of treated bamboo by mold fungi was postponed for several days.
