Thispaper takes Bohai Liaohe equipment CPLEC3000wind turbine project as the basis, forstrength and fatigue analysis on one of the core components.Hub as the important component of the wind turbine, with a complicated structure, inthe process of operation is under complex loads under different conditions. If the hub in thedesign process defects may lead directly to the typhoon machine can not operate normally,the size and distribution of stress however simulation it is difficult to use the classicalmechanical means to solve, this will be a lot of difficulties and problems to the entiredesign process.Therefore, in this paper the hub strain and stress in the process of analysis, the finiteelement method is introduced, based on finite element analysis software HyperMeshplatform of CPLEC3000wind turbine hub model grid, through the MSC.Patran/Nastranplatform for the limit of the hub strength analysis. Through the software and data analysisin the limit working condition, finally determined under extreme load wheel can meet thedesign requirements, the maximum by the stress in the material allowable stress within thepermissible range. The final analysis software for analysis and calculation of fatigue on thehub by using the MSC.Fatigue finite element fatigue, through analysis and calculation todetermine the hub for wind power generation unit in the design service life of20years.Through this research has provided the powerful technical support for the design andstructure optimization of Bohai Liaohe equipment in the next series of CPLEC windturbine.
