The problem of falling debris which cause of balcony wall-mounted flat-plate solarcollector is impacted by the falling objects is selected as the research objects, aiming atsome questions that have arisen in the process of building integrated solar light and heat.Experiment and finite element software simulation of ANSYS Workbench are adopted toanalyze this question respectively. And make a verify discussion about the comprehensiveand reasonable of the relevant parameters selection which provided by the stipulation aboutcollector cover resistance to impact test in GB/T6424-2007éFlat-plate Solar Collector ê.Finally, do a discussion on the issue about the prevention and treatment of shards of glasshigh-altitude falling and some suggestions are given by author.Obtained by experiment, the failure modes of the glass cover decreases along with theinclination of the collector growing when the ball has the same diameter. But the numbersof glass shards are increased. It is same to the scope of scattered with the inclinationgrowing. So the collector design with small inclination is more conducive to the preventionof shards of glass high-altitude falling when balcony wall-mounted flat-plate solar collectoris impacted by the falling objects. After the simulation through ANSYS Workbench, thesimulation results show that the trend of failure modes in experiment is same to the stressin simulation, and verify the selection of boundary conditions in experiment is correct. Theexperimental methods about the cover of balcony wall-mounted flat-plate solar collectorresistance to impact test should be added to the related stipulation in GB/T6424-2007. Theauthor analyzes the trajectory with two-stage of glass shards during the discussion aboutthe prevention and treatment of high-altitude falling. Then make some recommendationsthat isolate the danger zone by increasing the safe distance during the process of falling,and it is need to set collection device of glass shards to prevent the case of shards fallingaiming at the trajectory of glass in the collector surface. And the collection device has beenpatented.There are still many problems in the process of building integrated solar energyutilization. This paper focuse on the problem of falling debris which cause of balconywall-mounted flat-plate solar collector is impacted by the falling objects and discuss therelevant stipulations. The study about this question has a certain practical significance. Ithas a certain guiding significance to study this problem in residential buildings and givesome suggestions about the prevention and treatment of shards of glass high-altitude falling.
