A long-span transmission tower line system is a kind of towering structures, numerousand important as high load power transmission carrier, it is applied widely to the lifelineproject of electric power facilities. Is different from general civil engineering structurewhich are connected by a transmission wire, and various transmission tower as acontinuum. The destruction of the system of long span transmission tower system can leadto paralysis of the power system, seriously affected people’s lives, production andconstruction as well as the derivative of the secondary disasters to the state and the people’slife and property bring serious consequences. For transmission tower, tower, microwavetowers, tall structures, over the years, most of people think that the earthquake damage issmall, mostly by wind load control role. But as the height of the transmission tower andtransmission conductor span increases, the earthquake under the action of transmission linetower system destruction caused the phenomenon appear constantly. Multiple earthquakedisaster examples show that the transmission tower system tower line system are seriouslydamage in our seismic research is particularly important in the process.This paper mainly introduced the seismic dynamic response analysis of a long-spantransmission tower line system adopted by several kinds of theoretical method, and on thisbasis, the transmission line tower system in a city (claw type) as the background, usinglarge finite element software SAP2000, the establishment of a transmission line towersystem space model, the claw transmission tower system has carried on the responsespectrum analysis, dynamic time history analysis, compared the double tower systemmodel and the twin towers system three wire under the action of earthquake response ofthe model. The main content includes:(1)the first platform by SAP2000, the long span transmission tower line system wasestablished based on the software of the space finite element model,Respectively for thethree models on natural vibration characteristic analysis of the earthquake under the actionof a long-span transmission tower line system natural vibration characteristics and theinfluence of the displacement response.(2)using response spectrum analysis method, to calculate the double and twintowers three wire system response under seismic action, the result shows the wires forpower transmission tower under earthquake effect has a great influence.(3)using the linear time history analysis method, the double and twin towers three-wire system under different earthquake waves on the top of the displacement,acceleration, the counteracting force, stress, etc., the results show that the impact on theselection of seismic wave on tower and conductor can suppress the vibration oftransmission tower.
